Adopt an article
[edit]Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.

- National Fire Protection Association: I'll be overhauling this page, initially as a copy under my user page (user:Pskgoldberg/NFPA). This is my first venture as a wikipedian, and would appreciate any suggestions or comments, especially with regards to fitting this page in with the rest of the project. -- (Pskg) 09:00 30 May 2007
- Aspirated smoke detector, Smoke detector: I'll be expanding the first article, and tidying up the latter + adding references. If someone could help me do that, it would be great!
