You won't go to prison, it's not a crime to edit Wikipedia. We just have some expectations about how people should edit, and replacing "cannonball" with "steelball" wasn't a good edit to me. I just changed it back. As long as you're here to help out Wikipedia, you won't get in trouble. The worst that can happen is that someone will send you a message or a notice like the one above.

Don't be afraid to ask for help editing! We have plenty of people ready to answer any questions you might have at the Teahouse, and we have some tutorials to help you get oriented. We also have some guidance for younger editors that I highly recommend you read. If you have any questions about the rules of Wikipedia, feel free to reply to me!
