Request for Help (link characters)

Hi again!

I know we were just interacting, but I kind of wanted to ask for additional help and possibly and explanation for how to handle it in the future. I just published another translation (Zachem?), and for some reason the links are showing invalid character positions. I tried looking up how to handle them, but neither the ContentTranslation tool nor the Citationbot, for example, work. Can you help if possible? Please let me know.

Happy to help with the archiving! As for the citation issues, this is a weird one... If you go to this unicode converter tool and copy and paste into the top box one of the titles that you used on that page (example: «2M» — Россия Top 25 >> 24-2010, you will see in the HTML/XML section that it contains a hidden unicode space of  . 2026 Virginia State University shooting

Hi Zackmann08. I just declined the CSD you requested for 2026 Virginia State University shooting. It isn't eligible for A1 because there's enough context to know what the article is about (a shooting that occurred at a certain place at a certain time). WP:A1 also says Do not tag under this criterion in the first few minutes after a new article is created, and you tagged it only a minute after creation. It isn't eligible for A7 because that only applies to articles about a real person, individual animal, commercial or non-commercial organization, web content, or organized event, and a shooting isn't any of those. If you want to PROD it, take it to AFD, or draftify it (after some time has passed), go ahead, but it isn't eligible for speedy deletion. Chess enjoyer (talk) 18:43, 15 August 2026 (UTC)
