error message

Hi, thank you for your message. I changed something in an infobox and keeps showing some error message, I cannot figure out what's going, could you please take a look? This is for Ōno Goten. Thank you very much. ps: the other issue is in the box here Aoi Oshitayashiki, the coordinates are correct but it is showing an incorrect map, I don't know if this can be fixed. Infobox issue

Hello, seeing an error on Template:Infobox tram network from today's changes. |era1_website= etc. are displaying incorrectly. Only aware of it affecting Trams in Amsterdam and the template's documentation. Does that need to have the if statement restored, or something else? Zinnober9 (talk) 00:05, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I just went to fix, but looks like Jonesey95 already tried to fix this here. I think this entire template is just not properly done with the automatically adding the brackets to form the link in the Infobox. The error you (Zinnober9) pointed out in Trams in Amsterdam would have not been working correctly before the changes made as well. So I think the best course is to remove the auto linking feature from the Infobox code. Jonesey do you agree? Zackmann (^{Talk to me}/_{What I been doing}) 04:00, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

Just to be clear, what I saw for Amsterdam's website entry when reporting this was the display of something like:

[<span something%20something yadayada> ExternalLink arrowbox </span>]

That wrong display at Amsterdam has since been fixed between the two of you, but currently has the extra [ link ] look (from Jonesey's fix I assume?) in the case of {{official website}} template being used. I completely understand adding the brackets to the template when coming from the Dresden article where a url was entered, just need something that handles both cases. Still on a wikibreak here, but putting in something like "http://www.example.com Example Site" in |website=, expecting that square brackets will be provided by the infobox, is bad practice. This infobox should use a more common way of putting a web address into an infobox field. This will likely mean cleaning up every article. – Jonesey95 (talk) 01:33, 12 August 2026 (UTC)

Glossary infobox issue

Hey there, I've just run into a weird error and wanted to get your take on it. I'm seeing broken formatting at "Glossary infobox" at Addiction vulnerability (right at the top), and many other articles (see here). The error does not stem from recent changes. It seems as if "glossary infobox" is itself broken.

Another editor removed some content that broke Template:Addiction glossary. I've reverted since the edit summary wasn't very insightful and it broke the template. Template is working again. Zinnober9 (talk) 14:38, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

Just a bit of an interesting update here. Due to the template having references, when one of the articles using this template on it also has the same reference defined within the article, it reports as a "citation defined multiple times with different content" error on the article. "Cellular basis" (author Nestler EJ) citations being the culprit on Addiction. @Zackmann08, is this something you've encountered before? Would changing the template's ref name to something like "Cellular basis (template)" fix this? Is there something better? I don't deal with references more than some basics so haven't played with things enough to have a working knowledge of this situation. (If I'm dealing with refs, it's to remove linebreaks, fix something causing it to break other things, or to remove those pesky nondescript "ref name:0" calls to a meaningful name.) I'll give a recap and see if that helps bring you to speed on this (and if not, that's fine too).

Order of Events:

FleeceMD found that on the article Addiction, there was a "citation defined multiple times with different content" issue on ref "Cellular basis", so removed the conflicting reference from Template:Addiction glossary and altered some things, which broke the template from displaying altogether. Jessicapierce asked here what happened to this template from seeing that the template was brokenly displaying at the Addiction vulnerability article. I saw this discussion, figured it was likely an edit to the template, and confirmed that was the case. In looking at it, I couldn't determine what broke, and didn't feel the edit summary explained why the reference(s) were removed, so I reverted. And left a comment on FleeceMD's talk page asking for them for clearer edit summaries since it wasn't clear what they were doing. They returned with the comment on my talk page explaining the change and satisfied my questions for what they were intending. But since I haven't encountered this (article ref with template ref) ref conflict situation before, I figured I might ask you first to see if you might have some knowledge or wisdom this scenario and how best to resolve it.

Remaining question:

How best to resolve the citation multidef issue on Addiction with "Cellular basis" being defined on the article and within the called template. I rarely to never see refs in "sidebar/navbox" templates, but the refs seem to make sense here, so was wondering if the "Cellular basis" reference in the template should be renamed to something distinct so that the reference names didn't conflict, and the contents would remain unchanged, or if the "Cellular basis" ref on the Addiction article should be changed instead, or if there was a third, better way for the two cases of the "Cellular basis" ref to cohabitate on the Addiction article without becoming undefined for the other articles using this template.

If you don't know of a best solution, I'll likely venture forward and try renaming the template ref to "Cellular basis (template)" and will leave new talk page sections on both the article and the template's talk pages explaining this ref naming. Zinnober9 (talk) 03:33, 11 August 2026 (UTC)

Hello Zackmann! You have recently reverted all my edits that I had made on Jean-Antoine Morand, suspecting the use of LLM. This has been a mistake, I have translated this article using various dictionaries on top of my own english skills, and subsequently spent the whole day enriching the article with information that can be found through the sources I've added. This has not been generated with an AI model, as you can see from the history of the article, I've been editing this article repeatedly for a whole day. Please revert to my version, this english version is truly incomplete and lacks so much. The version that I have provided is much more polished and truly summerises this man's life, given I want to expand and create new articles on the rest of the Morand (which later becomes Morand de Jouffrey) family. I need my changes to be restored in order as to create the new wikipedia pages on the rest of the family, which will be interconnected to this one. It's a very interesting family & a lot can be written about them. All that has been added can be verified through the various sources I've provided. I would like to continue editing this article so please take the necessary actions to reverse it so I may continue my contribution.
