Magic in links

Hi Slavxe,

Thanks for adding links to the Ionic liquid article. Wiki markup has a magic trick that make those things simpler...any letters directly after the link (no space or punctuation) is automatically treated as part of the link-text. Compare:

• [[nanoparticle|nanoparticles]] → nanoparticles
• [[nanoparticle]]s → nanoparticles

Thanks for letting me know. I wasn't aware of this since I usually add links using the visual editor. It would be nice if this was added as the default behavior in visual editor. Slavxe (talk) 01:22, 15 July 2025 (UTC)

Chembox molecular formulas

Per the infobox docs, formulas should be written with each element in its own field. As a bonus, that automatically calculates the molecular weight. Here's an example based on a recent edit of yours: . The system knows every element's standard atomic weight (cited) and handles appropriate precision, so you can use that for anything that doesn't have isotopic enrichment.
