Request reason:

The following request was written through the unblock wizard.
Can you explain, in your own words, what you were blocked for?
Mainly mass redirect creation, as well as for a single racist comment. The mass redirect creation disrupted the WP:RFD community, but I nonetheless continued the abuse without acknowledging it.
If unblocked, what edits would you make and what (if applicable) would you do differently?
I have focused particularly on West Bengal and India in Commons, Wikivoyage and Bengali Wikipedia for the last four years. If unblocked here, I will focus particularly on West Bengal, India, and computing, with coverage on nearby areas. I will request redirects at WP:AFC/R and refrain from using any racist language.

Decline reason:

Given your racist comments, WP:0T applies and I'm not even sure if you are eligible for an unblock. Putting that aside for the sake of discussion, I see you also plan to continue working with redirects. There's no meaningful chance that's going to be allowed. I see no path forward for you without a complete WP:TOPICBAN on redirects, broadly construed, along with China and Kashmir, both broadly construed. I do, however, thank you for not evading your block here. That is a meaningfully good sign. Yamla (talk) 10:23, 1 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I have apologized for the single racist comment many times, and I understand how the language can nullify the safety and inclusivity of this community, and how it has damaged the trust between the commenter and the community. I have not just refrained from making racist comments in the last four years, but have also embraced the cultural diversity of different communities. In Commons, for example, I have communicated with all members patiently and handled an ANI case calmly, which got resolved later. I have also learnt how to think before responding, so that I avoid making any discriminatory comment, whether on race, gender, religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, etc. I still hope the English Wikipedia community has hope for me as a potentially valuable contributor in West Bengal, India and also in tourism and computing. --Sbb1413 (he) (talkcontribs) 03:53, 2 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
