Welcome to my talk page. Here are some tips to help you communicate with me:

  • Please continue any conversation on the page where it was started.
    • Thus, if I have left a message on your talk page please DO NOT post a reply here. I will have your talk page on watch and will note when you have replied.
  • Add or respond to an existing conversation under the existing heading.
    • Indent your comment when replying by using an appropriate number of colons ':'.
    • Create a new heading if the original conversation is archived.
  • To initiate a new conversation on this page click on this link.
  • If you are expressing a concern about edits made by RussBot, it is extremely helpful if you include a link to a specific page or, even better, a link to a diff showing the actual edit that the bot made. This makes it much easier to diagnose and correct problems.
  • You should sign your comments. You can do this automatically by typing four tildes (~~~~).

DisamAssist

[edit]

I've come back from holiday to find DisamAssist is not working for me - but it is obviously working for you. I have tried reinstalling on my common.js but still no "link here" option. Any ideas what else I should do? Rod talk 19:16, 1 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Change the link on common.js to:
loadScript("User:Certes/DisamAssist.js"); // Backlink: [[User:Certes/DisamAssist.js]]

Oh, and welcome back!! :-) R'n'B (call me Russ) 20:13, 1 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks but even after forced refresh "disambiguate links" doesn't appear in my dro down list even when I'm looking at a dab page with loads of entries. Rod talk 09:09, 2 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Should it be "importscript" rather than "loadscript" on User:Rodw/common.js? Rod talk 09:13, 2 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Probably, yes. —R'n'B (call me Russ) 10:22, 2 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Nope still nothing appearing in drop down list. Rod talk 10:45, 2 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I don't know what to suggest at this point. Your common.js looks right to me. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 13:41, 2 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I see it. You need to capitalize the S in importScript! —R'n'B (call me Russ) 14:53, 2 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Brilliant - that seems to have got it working. Rod talk 15:00, 2 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
