Question from Mibelz2 (5 August 2026)

[edit]

Hello Pichpich ! Would you be so kind to help me how to return my first User: Mibelz. User:Mibelz and User:Mibelz2 is the one person. I have forgotten my password, and next I created the new User: Mibelz2.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Mibelz2 (talkcontribs) 17:26, 5 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Sorry Mibelz, this is beyond what I can do. Actually, I'm not sure who has the tools to do this and you should ask at the help desk. It's a bit tricky because one has to make sure you're not impersonating that first account. Weren't you able to recover the password using your email account? Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 22:53, 5 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from Emibonnieusa (23:04, 1 January 2026)

[edit]

Hi mentor! I recently published a new article but it doesn't show up when I search for it on Wikipedia. Does it take time for the article to link to the search term, or do I need to somehow manually link it? Thanks! --Emibonnieusa (talk) 23:04, 1 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Emibonnieusa. There can be a bit of the delay but as you can see, it's now fixed. Best, Pichpich (talk) 00:28, 4 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from Deizer0157 (03:18, 3 January 2026)

[edit]

Hello Pichpich i wondered where can i find variable sources? --Deizer0157 (talk) 03:18, 3 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Deizer0157. Did you mean reliable sources? In this case, you have many options. Many sources can be found on the web such as sources of reliable news, scholarly publications (which are increasingly available for free), some older books now in the public domain, among many others. You can find other sources at your local or university library. To verify whether a given source is likely to be considered reliable by other editors, you can check out the very detailed list Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. Pichpich (talk) 01:25, 4 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes, i meant reliable sources Thank you Deizer0157 (talk) 02:59, 4 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from Kelp Krawler (20:29, 6 January 2026)

[edit]

Hello Pichpich, how do you gain barnstars and how do I participate and get associated with GOCE? --Kelp Krawler (talk) 20:29, 6 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kelp Krawler and welcome to Wikipedia. You gain barnstars by doing work around Wikipedia and patiently waiting for someone to notice! Barnstars are awarded by anyone to an editor who is deserving of that honour. If you really want to get a barnstar, you can take part in backlog drives such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors/Backlog elimination drives, Wikipedia:WikiProject Unreferenced articles/Backlog drives/November 2025 or the current Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Backlog drives/January–February 2026. These typically award barnstars to participants that meet minimal goals in the drive. As for membership in GOCE, anyone can join although it's expected that you consider yourself competent enough. (See the section "Joining the Guild" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors.) Best, Pichpich (talk) 22:31, 6 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

How can I participating in the reduction of the wikipedia backlog? thanks --SovietBias19 (talk) 08:00, 12 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi SovietBias19. This is actually fairly simple: browse through Category:Wikipedia backlog and choose the backlog you think you are most able to reduce (and most interested in reducing). If you want to feel part of a team, you can check out Wikipedia:Backlog drive schedule though not all backlog drives are actually listed there. [edit]

How do I create a citation? --Albert Cuen (talk) 15:46, 14 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Albert Cuen and welcome to Wikipedia. To create citations, the simplest way is to use one of the following tools: Wikipedia:RefToolbar or Wikipedia:ProveIt. I personally use the latter because the parameters of the citation can often be generated automatically from a url. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 18:52, 14 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

How can I edit my my page --Malike Ghare (talk) 14:10, 19 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Malike Ghare and welcome to Wikipedia! If you mean "how do I edit my personal user page User:Malike Ghare?", then you've already done so! If you mean "how do I create an article about myself?" then the answer is "you don't" because that puts you in a conflict of interest. If you meet the notability requirements of either this guideline or this one, then I'm confident someone will eventually start that article because Wikipedia covers football quite extensively. Question from GreekyTheGreek (18:57, 25 January 2026)

[edit]

How can I make a page on Wikipedia if the person, object etc. I want to make the page of doesn't have red text? --GreekyTheGreek (talk) 18:57, 25 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry GreekyTheGreek but I don't understand the question. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 22:24, 25 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
You know how in some pages some of the people mentioned in there have their names written in red instead of blue, showing that, they don't have a wiki page? I know that you can make a page like that by pressing on the red text, but how can I make a page on Wikipedia for a person listed on a Wiki page, but his name doesn't have neither blue or red text? GreekyTheGreek (talk) 22:35, 25 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Well if "Joe Whatever" is neither red nor blue, you can always add [[ and ]] around that name (i.e. writing [[Joe Whatever]]). In this case, you get Joe Whatever, in red because no such article exists. If you click on it, you'll be able to create the article about Joe Whatever. Another way to create the Joe Whatever article is by searching for the term Joe Whatever. If the search comes up empty, meaning that there's no such article, you'll get the message:
The page "Joe Whatever" does not exist. You can click on "Joe Whatever" to create the page directly, or you may create a draft and submit it for review, but consider checking the search results below to see whether the topic is already covered.

Note: Princessandtheflea's mentor AlphaBetaGamma is away.

Hello there, I have a question. I have re-written an articles history to prose format, from the information given in the original list of history. This was an edit that was suggested by Wikipedia, however the pop up suggesting the format be changed has not disappeared. Will this go away on its own or do I need to do something to manually remove it? Thank you in advanced, I appreciate your time. I’m sorry if this question is silly or if it has been posted elsewhere. --Princessandtheflea (talk) 05:16, 28 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

The problem with that page is that it is blatant promotion of an event. This is not what Wikipedia is supposed to be. Best, Pichpich (talk) 20:17, 30 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from HistoryWriter1117 (02:58, 2 February 2026)

Hi Pichpich, I was wondering if since the note has been removed that was claiming my article was promotional, does that mean I can make the changes that I wanted to make and re-submit it? January–February 2026 NPP drive - Phase 2

[edit]
NPP unreviewed article statistics as of February 02, 2026

Welcome to Phase 2 of the January–February 2026 NPP drive. During Phase 1, we reviewed 16,658 articles and 4,416 redirects, and there is currently a backlog of 16,475 articles and 23,782 redirects in the queue. Fantastic job! Completing 22,502 patrols in the first phase made a significant dent in the backlog. Let's keep our foot on the gas for Phase 2, and I hope we can achieve even more reviews than Phase 1. Best of luck!

Question from Samstapp (23:44, 10 February 2026)

[edit]

Hi there, I'm currently drafting an article on Argentine guitarist Agustin Pereyra Lucena. I'm having a hard time find reputable sources for information. There is a lot of information about him on liner notes of the records he released in the 70s and 80s. These liner notes can be found on Discogs, a vinyl record information site. Would this count as a reputable source? Thanks. --Samstapp (talk) 23:44, 10 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Samstapp and welcome to Wikipedia. Discogs cannot be used as a reliable source because its content is user-generated and is, or so I'm told, riddled with errors. Actually, I think it's more acceptable to use the liner notes themselves as sources such as track titles, credits, personnel and so on. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 19:42, 11 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

From what I understand, these documents are trying to argue that Rico Cortez Dukes is the son of Huey P Newton and it's not clear that this has been established. But let's suppose for a moment that these documents reliably establish this link. They're still nowhere near of what we are looking for which is in-depth coverage of Rico Cortez Dukes in reliable, third-party sources. There's absolutely nothing to build an article in those links. Question from Nanodyne-ptn (14:40, 18 March 2026)

[edit]

Hi! I wanted to stop by and say hello.

I'm a newbie and I'm really interested in video games, especially mobile gaming and tech. My main goal right now is just to learn how Wikipedia works and help improve some general mobile gaming articles without messing things up.

Since you are my mentor, I’d love to get your advice. What is the best way for a beginner to start contributing to gaming articles? Are there any specific beginner-friendly tasks you recommend? Thanks in advance! --Nanodyne-ptn (talk) 14:40, 18 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Nanodyne-ptn and welcome to Wikipedia! It's great that you want to contribute. I think a good place to start before you start editing is Help:Introduction. But beyond that, start by small improvements that you can make here and there. You'll get more confident as you go along and of course, if you run into problems, you can always contact me again (I'm your mentor forever!) Pichpich (talk) 14:50, 18 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

What counts as disruptive editing? I got a warning that my editing was disruptive, despite that not being my intent at all --CJ765 (talk) 01:13, 23 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

I agree that your edits are not intended as disruptive at all. However, you seem to be caught in a content dispute about whether to call characters superheros and supervillains. I'm not going to arbitrate this dispute since I have no expertise in comics. Since the changes you're making could potentially affect dozens of articles, I encourage you to stop making these changes for now, and start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Comics about the subject. Hi EditorJSHN and welcome to Wikipedia. You've done exactly the right thing when you find yourself in disagreement with another editor: start a discussion on the talk page. If you haven't done so, you should notify the other editor so that he can make its case. How do I know if a source is reliable or not? And how could I improve in editing overall? --R-CHBoard 13:00, 24 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi R-CHBoard and thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. How do you know if a source is reliable? Well the long answer is at Wikipedia:Reliable sources. But common sense also applies. Is the source dependent of the subject? Is the source known for robust fact-checking? Is the source often used by other outlets as a reliable source? Is the source partisan or biased in any way? And so on... You can check out Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources which lists several examples that you might consider using as a source and tells you the consensus on its reliability. Question from Authordevinharper (22:43, 30 April 2026)

[edit]

Hello. I wish to know how I can convert a Wikipedia article from English to Spanish so I can practice learning Spanish to complement my Duolingo app that I’m using. Is there some way to click it back & forth? --Authordevinharper (talk) 22:43, 30 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Authordevinharper. If you want to easily navigate between the English article about, say, Ancient Egypt and its counterpart on the Spanish Wikipedia, look at the top right of the article (Right above the "Read", "Edit" and "View history" tabs) and you'll see an icon (consisting of what I think is a Chinese character and an A) followed by, in the Ancien Egypt case, "175 languages". Click on that, and you will see all 175 languages for which there is an article on Ancient Egypt in that language's version of Wikipedia. Of course, more obscure topics may not have a Spanish equivalent but if you just want to practice your Spanish by toggling between the English and Spanish Wikipedia, just pick topics for which one can expect both the English and Spanish articles to be quite well-developed such as Spain, association football, Bad Bunny and so on. Question from ReligousJournalist248 (01:32, 2 May 2026)

[edit]

Hello mentor, how do I create pages for certain topics? --ReligousJournalist248 (talk) 01:32, 2 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi ReligousJournalist248 and welcome to Wikipedia. Since your account is very new, you cannot currently create normal articles and in any case, you might not be familiar enough with Wikipedia editing to write a proper article. What I suggest instead is to start with a draft. For that, see Wikipedia:Drafts; that page includes the basics and has a box for creating drafts. There are a few advantages to writing a draft. First, you can take your time improving the article without the risk of it getting deleted. Second, once you submit it for publication, you'll get precious feedback on what's missing from the draft to get to the article namespace. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 20:09, 2 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from Dhanvanthatprince2 (11:29, 4 May 2026)

[edit]

Helloo I am your mentee I have doubt can I just create a article about my school and then just hand it of to my friends who are not related anyway to my school and can they develop it? Or should they themselves create it and develop without any involvement of me --Dhanvanthatprince2 (talk) 11:29, 4 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Dhanvanthatprince2. It does not matter who creates an article: once it's there, anyone can edit it. That being said, I should caution you about creating an article about your school as many, if not most, schools are not considered notable enough to warrant an article. School articles are routinely considered for deletion, and it's best to read this before creating a school article. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 14:27, 4 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

i want to create a new page. how do I do that without publishing it. so that i can edit it for a few days before i publish it --Harshika Sahay (talk) 10:10, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Harshika Sahay and welcome to Wikipedia. The correct way to do this is to create a draft article. You can take your sweet time working on the draft and hopefully get a bit of feedback on how close you are to having something that can be moved to the article space. Question from Alex Foolly (11:25, 6 May 2026)

[edit]

I would like to publish this article

Martin Morris is an American attorney, writer, civic figure, and conceptual artist based in New York City. Morris has worked as a senior trial attorney with The Legal Aid Society and has also been publicly associated with Bronx Community Board 11 and Fountain House Gallery.

Early life and education

[edit]

Morris was born in Tucson, Arizona.[1]

He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University, where he studied Administration of Justice at the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government and minored in Psychology.[2]

According to his Bronx Community Board 11 biography, Morris worked as a District Attorney Intern at the Multnomah County Community Court, where he studied diversionary and community-based court models.[3]

Morris later received his Juris Doctor from New York Law School, graduating cum laude in 2004.[4]

Morris worked as a senior trial attorney with The Legal Aid Society.[5] --Alex Foolly (talk) 11:25, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Alex Foolly and welcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, I don't think that you can publish this article or at least not in its current state. Biographies on Wikipedia should be biographies of notable people in this sense or more generally this sense. In particular, the article should be based on reliable, third party sources that provide significant coverage of the subject. In your case, most of the content relies on Morris' bio on the Bronx Community Board which is not a third-party source and was probably written by Morris himself or someone close to him. The same goes for the Fountain House Gallery link: the source is most likely not independent of the subject and it seems likely that Morris wrote those two paragraphs himself. New Page Patrol Newsletter - May 2026

[edit]

Hello Pichpich,

New Page Review queue November 2025 - May 2026

Backlog update

At the time of this message, there are 15,282 articles and 32,951 redirects awaiting review.

After the January–February drive the article backlog was reduced to 15,179 articles and the redirect backlog to 19,053 respectively. Great job! However, both queues are growing rapidly and any additional reviews are highly appreciated.

2024 and 2025 NPP Awards

JTtheOG was selected as the NPP reviewer of the year for both 2024 and 2025, for reviewing the most articles amongst all reviewers.

Hey man im josh and MPGuy2824 won the Redirect Ninja Master Award for 2024 and 2025 respectively, for reviewing the most redirects.

Overall in 2024, one Platinum, two Gold, eight Silver, 12 Bronze and 45 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 66 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year. In 2025, one Platinum, ten Silver, 13 Bronze and 38 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 38 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year.

BoyTheKingCanDance, Rosiestep, SunDawn, and Vanderwaalforces were inducted into the NPP Hall of Fame for having two separate years of 2,000+ article reviews.

January–February backlog drive

The experimental two-month long backlog drive concluded with 183 reviewers patrolling over 27,761 articles and 35,309 redirects, earning over 36,836 points. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 6,484.6 points in this drive.

May backlog drive

An article-only backlog drive is currently underway. We are hoping to make a big dent in the backlog. You can read more about it or join at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Backlog drives/May 2026.

PageTriage

An attempt was made to get the New Pages Feed to sort by date marked as reviewed instead of date created. However we had to revert it due to bugs. We may try again in the future. You can subscribe to the Phabricator ticket if you're interested in following along.

Question from Languid On The Couch (04:31, 18 May 2026)

[edit]

Hello there, it says you are my mentor so i wanted to ask you a question. I see there is articles about some songs and albums but some of them are missing articles so i was wondering if i could make an article, am i allowed to do that? If so how would i do that, thank you --Languid On The Couch (talk) 04:31, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Languid On The Couch and welcome to Wikipedia. Yes, you can write articles about songs and articles and I encourage you to do that while keeping in mind the following: not all songs and albums are notable enough to warrant an article on Wikipedia. Articles should be based on reliable, third-party sources and significant coverage: songs and albums that haven't resulted in such coverage cannot have their own article. There are helpful guidelines for songs and for albums to determine what is or isn't a notable song or album. Best, Pichpich (talk) 15:26, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from Major Muritala Gbadamosi Eletu (Rtd) (07:39, 18 May 2026)

[edit]

How do I upload photo on my profile and make it visible on Google? --Major Muritala Gbadamosi Eletu (Rtd) (talk) 07:39, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

As long as it is a free image, you can upload it to Commons. There's a helpful Upload Wizard to guide you through that. I suppose your aim is to add it to your user page about Muritala Gbadamosi Eletu. Now I am a bit concerned, given your user name, that Muritala Gbadamosi Eletu is a relative of yours. In that case, you are in a conflict of interest, and you should not be the one writing the article. I don't think your draft is written from a neutral point of view as it contains a lot of peacock terms. If Muritala Gbadamosi Eletu is notable enough, someone else will eventually write an article on the subject. Best, Pichpich (talk) 15:20, 18 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

How can I create a page in Wikipedia and add all the information that is public and given permission by a person? --Karmaa Here (talk) 18:19, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Karmaa Here and welcome to Wikipedia. The best way for new users to create a page is to start with a draft article. You can take your time writing the draft and making sure that it is inline with Wikipedia's content policies before publishing it as a normal article and you'll get feedback from other users. Now I'm not sure what subject you had in mind but be aware that not everyone can be the subject of a Wikipedia article. Articles should be based on reliable, third-party sources that provide significant coverage of the subject. Articles that do not meet these requirements (see the general guideline and the biographies-specific one) are routinely deleted so it makes no sense for you to spend time writing an article about a non-notable subject. Hi dhanvanthprince2. Most of my editing is minor things corrected here and there. Obviously, adding a comma in the article Mariah Carey would get me a huge number of page views, but I'd feel silly taking any sort of credit for that. Among the articles where I've done more significant work, Qnet and Alfred Tarski get between a 100 and 300 daily page views. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 14:10, 2 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi - I would like to take your feedback on a contribution ( a new page for a brand I am associated with). Would you prefer if I create in my namespace/sandbox or draft itself before I share it with you? Thanks. --Rajeshthiagarajan (talk) 12:12, 3 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Rajeshthiagarajan and welcome to Wikipedia! I hate to quell your enthusiasm, but if you're associated with a brand, you should not write an article about it since you're in a conflict of interest. If the brand is sufficiently notable, I'm sure someone with no relation to it will eventually start an article on the topic. Best, Pichpich (talk) 13:34, 3 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the clarification. I assumed that as long as potential conflict of Interest was disclosed and the content was factual with references - it should be fine. Rajeshthiagarajan (talk) 13:54, 3 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hello! I have a few questions about editing: “What are the most common mistakes new editors make?” “How do I know whether a source is reliable enough to cite?” “How do I properly add references to an article?”“When should I make a small edit directly, and when should I discuss it on the Talk page first?” --Seika752024vice (talk) 07:09, 15 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Seika752024vice and welcome to Wikipedia. I think one of the most common mistakes new editors make is to hesitate to edit an article when they see something that they can improve. All articles are constantly changing and if other editors disagree with your modifications, they'll improve upon it. In short: be bold. Other common mistakes include not caring enough about the sources although new editors are not expected to know everything about sourcing requirements! To know how to decide whether a source is reliable enough, I invite you to read this guideline. I also find this list helpful for common sources. As for your last question, use the talk page only if you plan a massive edit (removal of entire sections, additions of entire sections and so on) or if you expect that other editors will dispute your edit, in which case you can defend it using references. Hi Pichpich, I am afraid I screwed up, and I wonder whether you can help. You will find on the Noticeboard a complaint by A Frantic Turtle that I made COI changes without permission. Which I did. But (a) I did not do it in bad faith, I just got confused, having made changes to the German AURELIUS Group page earlier, where they do not go live until checked by the community. I just did the same on the English page, which operates differently (I now remember...). (b) the changes I made were small, just updates on recent changes at AURELIUS Group. Any advice? --MarkAurel2026 (talk) 14:01, 24 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi MarkAurel2026. I can't say I have a ton of sympathy here. You know that COIs are very much frowned upon here and on the German Wikipedia and continuing to edit anyway shows a lack in judgment. For now, I've reverted your change to Aurelius Group, because of your COI but also because it's sourced to a company's press release which is not a third-party source. My advice going forward is to use Talk:Aurelius Group to suggest future changes you think would improve the article, including reliable sources to back up your proposed additions. You're invited to the Mentorship noticeboard

[edit]

Hi, Pichpich. You are cordially invited to the brand new Wikipedia:Mentorship noticeboard. I get the impression sometimes that we mentors are each toiling in our own cubbyhole or hamster wheel, quietly answering mentee questions with little to no interaction with other mentors. I think we have a lot to share and learn from each other, and I know it will make me feel better just having the opportunity to interact with you and other mentors there, and I hope it will for you, too. Looking forward to hearing your feedback. Please take the § Survey when you get there! Mathglot (talk) 06:39, 14 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Articles for Creation backlog drive

[edit]

Hello Pichpich:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.

You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 5000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:38, 19 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from OccupyWiki (15:53, 20 July 2026)

[edit]

Hi Pichpich,

I wanted to translate the Hungarian-language Wikipedia article about my musician friend, Viktor László, into English. Unfortunately, Wikipedia did not allow me to publish it, so I was only able to save it as a community draft.

I’m not entirely sure how to submit it for review through Articles for Creation. Could you please help me? --OccupyWiki (talk) 15:53, 20 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi OccupyWiki and welcome to Wiipedia. I'd be glad to help but I cannot find your Draft article. Is its exact title "Viktor László"? Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 18:24, 20 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
My bad... Now it must be there. (Draft:Viktor László) OccupyWiki (talk) 17:44, 21 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
The problem with your draft is that it contains no references at all. If you move it to mainspace now, the article would be admissible for deletion under Wikipedia:Proposed deletion of biographies of living people. In Draft space, it is immune to deletion as long as you continue to improve the draft I checked and the Hungarian version does not contain any references either but every wiki has its own requirements for referencing and the English Wikipedia is pretty strict about it (which is a good idea imo). Question from Electronic gel (05:10, 24 July 2026)

Hello, how do i remove this "Template:Cite web=" error? I got it while sourcing my 1994 TAESA Learjet 25 crash article. --I am Transat (talk) 05:10, 24 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Electronic gel. I've fixed the three problematic citations. It was an easy fix and you can see what I did if you look in the history. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 13:45, 24 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from Remba2707 (19:34, 27 July 2026)

[edit]

hello, how are you? --Remba2707 (talk) 19:34, 27 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Good, thanks. Is there anything I can help you with? Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 21:28, 27 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
My article submission got declined but i have credible sources attached in referemces, please help Remba2707 (talk) 03:35, 28 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
I have to agree with the assesment of your draft as it currently stands. First, the two references from the IDC website are not independent of the subject. They're ok for confirming some of the details but they don't establish notability which is the crux of the issue. The link to DesignEd Asia could be what we're looking for but it's a dead link that is now advertisement for a gambling site. As for the Hindustan Times article, I can only access part of it but I don't see how an article about EVMs relates to Rao's work with bamboo craft. Sorry, Pichpich (talk) 19:32, 28 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
thanks for the feedback,
  1. can you please elaborate on the notability issue and how to resolve it?
  2. i will remove the designed asia, was genuine but might have got corrupted.
  3. i will also work on more references
  4. lastly, i do feel subjectively and objectively this article worth the effort.
Remba2707 (talk) 12:50, 31 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia content must be based on reliable sources. One immediate consequence is that we can only write articles about notable subjects where notability in this context means that the subject has been the subject of significant coverage in multiple reliable sources that are independent of the subject. For now, I'm not entirely convinced that A.G. Rao is notable (in Wikipedia's meaning of the term). Best, Pichpich (talk) 16:33, 31 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jovi2005 and welcome to Wikipedia. I'm here to help but you're going to need to be more specific. What exactly is it you want to do around here? Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 16:28, 29 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
i want to work here and get paid ~2026-42207-95 (talk) 16:35, 29 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Sorry to disappoint: you're not going to get paid for your work on Wikipedia. We're all volunteers here and editing for pay is strongly discouraged. Getting paid for your work here without disclosure is a quick way to get blocked from editing. Best, Pichpich (talk) 17:42, 29 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Lufthaus albums

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Category:Lufthaus albums indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. plicit 14:01, 4 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from Kwebspace (13:20, 6 August 2026)

Hi I'd like to write an article. There's lots of information and links about this. So I'm glad you're here so you can assist me. I'm not the best writer but I have to start somewhere. --Kwebspace (talk) 13:20, 6 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from Kwebspace (13:56, 6 August 2026)

[edit]

I'm on the page - submitting your draft. I can plug in a draft title, there was one underlined in red. I clicked on it but it doesn't work. I'm stuck there...I can't submit the draft. Error message says : Please check draft title. No such draft exists. --Kwebspace (talk) 13:56, 6 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kwebspace and welcome to Wikipedia. I've created the draft for you. It is available for edit at Draft:Red Coalition (advocacy group). You can now edit the draft and improve until it's solid enough to be moved into the Article space. The main challenge is to demonstrate that this advocacy group is notable enough, that is, it's been the subject of significant coverage in multiple reliable sources. These sources should be cited in the article. Citing sources is a bit technical so let me know if you have trouble with that. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 16:38, 6 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from Cohaaan (00:33, 11 August 2026)

[edit]

someone nI know who wrote a bunch of books passed away a few years ago and people are always searching for hima nd cant find him i want to add him --Cohaaan (talk) 00:33, 11 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Cohaaan and welcome to Wikipedia. The first question you need to ask yourself is: is this person notable (in Wikipedia's sense of the term), that is has this author been the subject of in-depth coverage in multiple reliable sources. If they are, then I suggest you create a draft. Let me know if you need any further help. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 12:39, 11 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from JUDGEADGG (02:19, 11 August 2026)

[edit]

Hi there, I have tried to edit a link on the Don Menza discography which links to the wrong eponymous artist.

I was unable to edit the link though, so I left a comment on the page's talk feature with the specific reference in case someone would like to correct it. --JUDGEADGG (talk) 02:19, 11 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi JUDGEADGG. Thanks for letting me know. I've fixed the entry. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 12:32, 11 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Question from Yeornuh on Philippine Navy (15:44, 14 August 2026)

[edit]

How do I make this quote not be flagged for being toned --Yeornuh (talk) 15:44, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi Yeornuh. Unfortunately, I don't understand your question. What quote are you talking about, and how is it flagged? Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 15:55, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
A quote in the article keeps getting flagged and I don’t know what to do. Yeornuh (talk) 15:57, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Again, can you be specific? What do you mean by flagged? And which quote is it exactly? Pichpich (talk) 15:59, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I do apologize for not being specific enough, I will go get you the quote, and it’s being flagged by automod when I get recommended it. It keeps showing up. Yeornuh (talk) 16:04, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
The quote reads the following, By 2028, we shall be a modern, multi-capable naval force responsive to our maritime nation's defense and development Yeornuh (talk) 16:06, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Well, I've modified the reference slightly so that it does not return an error in the list of references at the bottom. Is this what you meant by the quote being flagged? Pichpich (talk) 16:25, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, thank you so much Yeornuh (talk) 16:32, 14 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
