Wikipedia Library icon

- No idea. That template was created as a result of discussion initiated by Editor ThoughtIdRetired; see Help talk:CS1 errors/Archive 4 § Wikipedia library url. The single instance of use was added to Sycorax by an editor who did not participate in the discussion (this edit).
- I presume that you intend to take it to tfd; seems sensible to me.

#tagref to refn
[edit]Hi there, hope you're well. Had a question I thought you might have insight on. Many articles, particularly on classical composer and musicians, use footnotes not from {{efn}} but with n1, n2, n3 etc. As you may know(?), I've noticed older articles accomplish this with {{#tagref|text|group=n}} and newer with {{refn}}. At some point I saw another editor (can't remember who) changing #tagref instances to {{refn}}—I have since been doing the same but am now wondering: should I be changing instances of #tagref to {{refn}}? {{#tag:ref|text|group=n}}? (with the colon?) - If that is all that you are doing as exemplified by your example edit, I guess I wouldn't bother. The article is a feature article and was promoted to FA (permalink) using the

citeseerx removal bot

Could you sync the sandbox with the live version? I normally wouldn't ask to skip the usual cadence just for a DOI prefix update, but things are still not synced up with the current update, and this would cover the Nature journals, or roughly 75,000 free citations and the sooner we can send Citation bot on them the better because there's gonna be a lot to mark as free. Removal of "url-status=dead"?
[edit]Just want to flag that I reverted your edit at Magic: The Gathering because those links are all dead (see Wikipedia:Link rot/URL change requests#magic.wizards.com). A lot of them are soft-404 so if you're using a bot, maybe it missed that? Sariel Xilo (talk) 22:21, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
