About a Recent Blocked User
[edit source]Ending in 01. Why is the block only for 31 hours. Not questioning your judgment too much, but just curious, because it seemed to me like a slap on the wrist for something that deserved more than that. Enćenćecasïdća (talk) 05:44, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

- I came across the editor from bot reports of edit filter hits, and was looking at the warnings on the talk page when i actioned the initial block. 31hrs is the default option in Tinkle. Plus their contributions didn't all appear to be egregious from a quick scan until i went to delete the user page and read it in full. Mfield (Oi!) 05:53, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

- Following an RfC, the 30-day requirement for extended-confirmed status now begins after an account's first edit instead of its registration (T431060).
Technical news
- Inactive editors can now be removed as mentors at Special:CommunityConfiguration/Mentorship automatically.
- The Suggested Edits' Revise Tone feature is now enabled. It encourages editors to identify and revise non-neutral language in articles.
