Automatic Korean romanization software
[edit]Please see my edit comment here; that edit you reverted was actually correct, and the person you reverted is a coauthor on the romanization software alongside me. grapesurgeon (talk) 07:48, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hello Grapesurgeon,
- According to my research, the edit at this link https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=1347518375 didn’t seem accurate. Since it was made by an IP user, I reverted it based on the information I found using the Personal Dashboard. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:PersonalDashboard
- I’m still quite new to editing Wikipedia, and Korean isn’t my language, I'm sorry I relied on translations for this. I can see from your extensive edit history that you’re fluent in Korean, so thank you for pointing this out. I thanked your revert and would have undoneit myself after learning this. User talk page warnings
[edit]Hey, I noticed your good work in explaining why you reverted people's edits. This is just a friendly note that you can make your life easier by using Wikipedia:WikiProject User warnings, which sends a template, so you don't have to type it out every time. I would also recommend getting Wikipedia:Twinkle so you can do this automatically.
That's all, and keep up the good work :) Cherrytxrt 📧 16:20, 17 April 2026 (UTC)

Pointing Out the lack of summary for my edits on State governments of India
[edit]Hello, @LumenArchivorum, just wanted to inform that I have added a constructive summary about all my edits on State governments of India. I appreciate you contacting me via the talk page. Please do take a look and let me know if there is anything I can improve. Once again Thank you. ~2026-23412-42 (talk) 11:42, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hello,
- I am afraid that what you wrote in the field for edit summaries didn't explain anything. It was just a link to the relevant Wikipedia article. I chose the no edit summary template because it was the closest one that fit these edits.
- 1. if it was meant as a citation, we may not cite Wikipedia articles.
- 2. if it was meant as an explanation to what you changed and why, it didn't explain.
- Thank you so much for taking the time to ask, and if there is anything I can support you in I am here for you. LumenArchivorum (talk) 13:12, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Health in Namibia, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. SMasonGarrison 20:12, 22 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hello,
- Thank you for helping, which category was wrong? LumenArchivorum (talk) 08:39, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- Most of them, to be honest. This diif shows which categories I removed: Many of these categories were much less specific than is typical for this kind of page. It can be helpful to look at what other pages are in each category. SMasonGarrison 16:49, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- It means a lot that you took the time because otherwise I'm afraid I would have missed it. I am reading Wikipedia's guidelines on categories for articles carefully now and I see I was thinking too broadly. Thank you. LumenArchivorum (talk) 18:24, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
- No worries! I'm always happy to answer category questions. It's a tricky area. SMasonGarrison 19:27, 24 May 2026 (UTC)

Please do outline your specific objections on talk
[edit]Hello Lumen. Regarding this, having gotten over my initial offense at your characterization of my editing, I would like to encourage you to raise your specific objections regarding NPOV and due weight at Talk:Languages of Palestine. Please feel free to highlight specific terminology, phrasing, sentences or framings you feel need balancing, removal, or modification. I am open to collaborating on changing any of my additions, if there are valid, constructive criticisms. Thank you! Tiamut (talk) 10:10, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- I have continued to engage with you on the talk page, and I do not think it is appropriate to criticize my seeking advice at the Teahouse when I am concerned that a dispute may arise. LumenArchivorum (talk) 10:25, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- The problem is not going to Teahouse for advice. It was in your presumptuous characterization of my editing. I will note you have yet to raise a specific problem with my edits there. I am not a mind reader and cannot guess where the POV problems you claim are there lie. Be specific and we can make progress. Tiamut (talk) 10:44, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- I have raised my problem in the talkpage, and if you don't like that I described your stile of writing in this particular article as failing NPOV that is nothing personal, it is about editing. Please stop this. LumenArchivorum (talk) 10:47, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry, but you need to be more specific. I won't leave you any further messages here, as you seem to be interpreting them poorly. Tiamut (talk) 11:06, 12 June 2026 (UTC)

Your participation at AE
[edit]Note that you must only comment in your own section, and that everything you say must be backed by evidence. So for example if you say a user has been combative, you must cite links that demonstrate that behavior, and explain why you think it's combative.
Also note that you have a word limit of 500. Your judgement on the other evidence and your opinion on whether Tiamut should be sanctioned are not that relevant; since you're not an administrator, your opinion is not weighed in the final decision. Administrators will review your evidence and decide whether it's sanctionable. I'd recommend deleting all you've written with the exception of this comment, which you must move to your own statement section. Then add evidence to your statement and explain why and how you think rules were violated.
Best, NorthernWinds ❄️ (talk) 16:45, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- Hello,
- Thank you, it is my first time commenting on something in ArbCom, I will take your advice and rewrite my comments. I just haven't figured out the technical steps of linking evidence smoothly, but I guess I can just add links even if it looks awkward.
- Best regards LumenArchivorum (talk) 16:55, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- Luckily, Tiamut already asked me this question and got an answer, so you can check it out there :) Also see Help:Cheatsheet NorthernWinds ❄️ (talk) 16:59, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- Your statement is still a little bit of a mess. Do you want me to format it for you (move it to your section)? NorthernWinds ❄️ (talk) 17:22, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, can you please do it? I don't know how yet, still learning. LumenArchivorum (talk) 17:24, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- Done. Now you should probably get to adding evidence... I can help you format it as well NorthernWinds ❄️ (talk) 17:39, 12 June 2026 (UTC)
- Too kind, thank you so much, I have only edited here for 6 months and I've never visited ArbCom before. Better it is done before the group reaches a decision because I won't have time to learn how to do it myself. Wikipedia has good people, I see it in ArbCom and in you, thank you so much. Co-nomination
[edit]I nominated Languages of Palestine for a WP:DYK here. I added you as a co-nominator for your work on the article since June 11th and because it was your suggestions to improve the article that led me to expand its content enough for it to qualify for a DYK. Also, you indicated that you will continue adding to it, so I wanted to make sure your efforts are recognized too. I hope you do not mind being listed as a co-nominator without me consulting you first. If you do, please free feel to comment at the linked page and ask to have your name removed. Have a good day! Tiamut (talk) 09:37, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for your message, and for adding me as a co-nominator. That was very kind of you, and I really appreciate it. It’s been rewarding to see the article develop.
- This has also been a learning experience for me. I admit that I was not prepared for such intense talkpage discussions or the relating discussions which are all new to me, and as you understand a rather stressful experience, being no fault of any person, it's just a new situation with rules and technical steps I don't have time to learn while simultaneously contributing well to Languages of Palestine. I’ve realized that I tend to work best at a slower pace, both in building out content and in talk page discussions, and I think focusing on that will help me continue growing as an editor.
- Thank you again for your work on the article and for including me, I’m very grateful to have played a small part in it. LumenArchivorum (talk) 22:04, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
- You are welcome. And I am sorry that the experience was tense and overwhelming for you. Not only is the ARBPIA topic area rather inclined to that despite best efforts to avoid it, but there was an added dispute, an intense personal dynamic in which I have been unfortunately embroiled that was imported into the discussions there as well, and that you have likely had no knowledge of (nor should you have to).
- In any case, I hope there are no hard feelings and that once you feel you have a hang of the regular editing basics, you will venture back to making contributions in the CT area. And you are welcome back to that article anytime. Happy editing! Tiamut (talk) 08:42, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

[edit]
Hello, I'm Gnomingstuff. An edit that you recently made seemed to be generated using a large language model (an "AI chatbot" or other application using such technology). Text produced by these applications is not allowed on Wikipedia, and may contain factually inaccurate statements, fictitious citations, or other problems. You should instead read reliable sources and then summarize those in your own words. Your edit may have been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or ask your questions at the Teahouse, a friendly place for new users. Thanks. Gnomingstuff (talk) 18:11, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Gnomingstuff,
- Thanks for taking the time to leave me a note and for flagging the diff at the noticeboard. I’ve gone back to look at the edit you pointed out (1345574273) and at the current guidance about large language models.
- You’re right that there’s a problem with that edit. My intention was to copy and paste source information that I had been working with, but in the proccess I mistakenly copied over a Perplexity‑generated summary and its file URL instead of the underlying source details. That meant AI‑derived prose and an AI artifact ended up in mainspace, which isn’t okay under the pressent rules.
- I’m starting to fixing this by removing the Perplexity citation and either rewriting or cutting the sentences that came from AI output, making sure that what remains is based on solid sources I’ve actually read and written in my own words. I’m also going through my edits in general to review how I ells my have worked in anyway but in accordance with Wikipedia rules and guidelines.
- From here on I’ll be much stricter with myself, if I use tools like that, it’ll only be outside Wikipedia for brainstorming and searching for academic sources.
- I appreciate you raising this rather than ignoring it. If you come across other specific diffs where you think AI‑derived text or citations are still lurking, please do point me to them and I’ll sort them out
- (placed the same response to you on the noticeboard) LumenArchivorum (talk) 19:05, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
DYK for Languages of Palestine
[edit]On 6 July 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Languages of Palestine, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that diglossia is a major feature of ancient and modern languages used in Palestine? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Languages of Palestine. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (Languages of Palestine), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.
Health in Yemen - nice work!
[edit]Just wanted to say nice work on the Health in Yemen page. I saw it was the most-edited WikiMed article this week yet still rated as a Start-class; a very high-tier B, for sure. I assume you're going for GA status, and at a glance it looks like it's getting there. Two quick suggestions:
1) Add an infobox or introductory image, so it shows up nicely in search! I think any of the photographs (not diagrams) already on the page would do well as the intro image
2) I think this page definitely needs a History section, even if it's short and/or only has information from the Aden Colony. But if it's too hard to find information, nobody will fault you :) Just-a-can-of-beans (talk) 19:07, 14 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Just-a-can-of-beans
- Thank you, it means so much.
- You're right, it needs an infobox and a history section, it also needs a non communicable diseases section and more I want to get to asap. Working on the personnel section now, then I am doing the facilities section. I was thinking of doing non communicable diseases after that, but your input leads me to think that I should go straight for a history section after the personnel section. It will help readers a lot to understand the rest of the text as the facts are rather difficult to process.
- You made my day, it's so encouraging and gives extra to fuel to keep working on health in Yemen. Thank you! LumenArchivorum (talk) 19:38, 14 July 2026 (UTC)
Ministry of Public Health and Population
[edit]Just to let you know, I've expanded Ministry of Public Health and Population with sources and content you may (or may not) find useful for expanding Health in Yemen. I was holding off on that article for a while but you're work on the latter motivated me to get something done! Hsnkn (talk) 02:03, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Hsnkn
- Thank you! I am thrilled to have inspired you, and yes I will make use of the sources you find, and I hope the reference list in health of Yemen will help you too. Working on this article feels like a journey of discovery, I keep being surprised and I keep finding new MEDRS, a mountain of research out there that haven't been used on Wikipedia before, I suspect this article may result in the birth of a few new articles with time. Let's do this together and hopefully more editors will pay attention to this area, thank you so much for the encouragement and for your good work to lift the worlds public knowledge quality.
