Hiligaynon and Cebuano numbers

[edit]

Hi, this is in response to your comment in my blog. The answer is yes, isa ka adlaw (Hiligaynon) and usa ka adlaw (Cebuano) are perfectly acceptable. Plurality usually isn't marked on the word itself in Philippine languages. What makes it plural are numbers are the word mga in certain languages. So while ang adlaw means "the day" ang mga adlaw means "the days." --Chris S. 07:21, 31 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
