Ferris Wheel

[edit]

Hi. What is your source for the coordinates you added here? 86.188.86.51 (talk) 21:16, 21 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I live like ~5 blocks from the former site of the Ferris Wheel there. NigeriaNoKamisama (talk) 12:47, 22 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
If you don't have a reliable source, then it's original research. 86.156.62.108 (talk) 16:40, 22 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
This isn't OR, if you read the text of the article under After the Columbian Exposition, there's an already cited statement that says: The amusement park was located at 2619 to 2665 N. Clark, which is now the location of a McDonald's and a high-rise residential building. If you check my coordinates, you'll find they're within the 2600 N. block of Clark St, located at a high-rise apartment and a McDonald's. I found a different article stating the location again, so I attached it. Reverted back. NigeriaNoKamisama (talk) 20:18, 23 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ogilvy

[edit]

Hello, NigeriaNoKamisama, given your recent interest in the Ogilvy & Mather article, I was curious if you have the time to review my requested updates for the infobox. I'm looking to update the CEO's title, remove two people, and update the company's subsidiaries following its recent restructuring. All of this is explained in my request on the article's Talk page. Disclosure: I have a conflict of interest because I'm here on behalf of Ogilvy as part of my work at Beutler Ink. Can you give this a look? Thanks in advance! Deletion discussion about Jorge Simes

[edit]

Hello LocusXovier, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Jorge Simes, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jorge Simes.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rkieferbaum}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

@Rkieferbaum: Hi! I see the comments you made - I think that part of the issue causing that feeling is that the article is such a stub. Let me put in some more relevant information with good sources and I think the page will make a lot more sense. Please give me a few days to improve the article. DYK for Lyon 25

[edit]

On 10 December 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Lyon 25, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Tony Hawk described ollieing a staircase in Lyon as "one of the greatest feats in skateboarding history"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Lyon 25. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Lyon 25), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.
