1) But Bharwad is related to Gop Yadavas they are actually Nanda Vanshi in the cast list of Dadra Nagar Haveli Bharwad's name is with Yadav.

2) On page 21 of the book titled Transactions of the Medical and Physical Society of Bombay, Volume 11, Bharvard is called Gopalak(cowherd).

3) In the book named Vishal Sabdakosh, the meaning of Abhir is written as bharvad.

4) In the book called Sanskrit vinit kosh, bharvad are called Abhir Gowal.

5) In the book named Journal of the Oriental Institute, bharvad is called Gopalak(cowherd).

6) Sri Samb - Pradyuman Charitra Gujarati book mentions that Lord Krishna grew up in Gokul with bharvad and cowherds.

7) In Dhyayasraya, Hemachandracharya introduces Sakhad, the father of Anhil Bharwad, with Gopal after his name.

Rollback

Hi HirowoWiki. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

Changing redirects

Hey there. Since you mass changed some redirects recently, I just want to make sure you're aware of WP:NOTBROKEN. In general, working redirects should not be bypassed. For example, you recently changed WP:UNDUE to Wikipedia:Neutral point of view#Due and undue weight. If someone ever renames that "Due and undue weight" heading to "Undue and due weight", then the new wikilink might break, whereas the old one would continue working. So in terms of maintenance it can be beneficial to keep redirects. Hope that makes sense. –Novem Linguae (talk) 11:03, 7 July 2024 (UTC)

Hi, saw your revert. I'm unsure if not everybody can see it, but I added those because the large image encroaches on the title, essentially squeezing the title of the following section to the side and vertically. I see it on both firefox and chrome on a 1920x1080 resolution screen. Note about final warnings

Just a note to warn about how a final warning can backfire. Thanks for helping revert the "fake death" vandal. I issued a final warning on their page about an hour ago, and as they persisted, I posted a notice at WP:AIV. Now I've seen this happen before: a second "final warning" gets posted on the talk page, the admin doesn't look to closely at the history, and dismisses the report as "no vandalism since final warning". Advice to new editors

Hello, HirowoWiki,

I was looking at the User talk page of a very new editor and I saw you recommending that they start using Twinkle. This editor only had about 70 edits and they should not be going near a powerful editing tool like this. It is very easy for inexperienced editors to misuse Twinkle and start reverting editors before they have even learned about Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Please do not promote Twinkle to editors who have less than a few month's experience on the project or they could find themselves getting into more trouble and causing more headaches than they can solve. Hello! I could really use your help. I've already tried several times to submit an article on the eBeam Initiative. I have disclosed on my user page that I am associated as a paid consultant to one of the member companies. I have a challenge to overcome the lack of independent sources as there aren't many editors writing independently about semiconductor photomasks and lithography. I have done a complete rewrite so it doesn't sound like a commercial - at least I don't think so. I have included some references which I think pass the independent test. TFA protection templates

I noticed you've been adding and removing protection templates for TFAs - thanks for doing that. I was thinking, maybe we can ask TFA Protector Bot's operator to reprogram the bot to add and remove the templates when it protects the article and when the protection expires, respectively, so you wouldn't have to do it manually. – Epicgenius (talk) 00:21, 24 July 2025 (UTC)

Angel21022014 is a single purpose account for just this one page, and has been pretty resistant to any changes to it. How do you reference oral histories as told by the Elders of an indigenous people? As told directly to me, not a stated fact as written in a book/ article/paper/etc. So I can't reference it from one of those traditional sources. Given its an article about the aboriginal group being massacred by white colonial rulers, referencing only the numbers of dead as written in diaries of the 2 lead combatants (Governor & Captain). Signature inside the template is optional as you can see in the Template data table.

Whether an invisible editor comment is before or after the signature makes no functional difference to editing experience.

The reason it's optional is so that there's no double-signatures if the template is used with the new DiscussionTools that became default 3 years ago on en-wiki, which conveniently I can just hit "Add Topic", past in the {{subst:ct/alert/first|gg}} and hit submit.

Hi KuyaMoHirowo, I did undo the removal of text from the various versions of the event in the Coonan cross oath page. You removed those recently stating they are original research stuffs. My point was those sections give the reader the different perspectives of this historic event esepecially since it happened in the 17th century. The first thing to note is that I am trying to follow your extensive and fairly technical instructions (for writing a message that responds to the cut-and-paste message you shared), and apologize if I inadvertently missed some of the steps that you instruct respondents follow. As a non-expert and non-programmer, I hope you'll forgive any mistakes and work with me to get things right. I am writing about the subject of your message. Your unedit of my contribution, while well intentioned, may have been more constructive had you tried to understand the reason for my edit as well as its purpose, both of which I believe both remain self evident; and also that you work with me to evaluate the worthiness of the reasoning and purpose and, if you find they do not violate rules, that you reinstate them. (Please let me know if, upon trying to understand the reasoning and purpose, there is confusion.) I'm also not sure that the cut-and-paste reason for your undoing of my contribution was 1) helpful to others or 2) a positive contribution to facts. In fact, I fear the contrary may be true. The cut-and-paste message ignored obvious information and has had the actual effect of undermining both i) someone learning to edit on this site, and easy to be dissuaded from future contributions and ii) a spirit of conviviality.

That you chose not to tailor your template objection to amateur editors is bad form but, given what I assume is prolific work undoing the contributions of amateurs like me, understandable.

More specifically, your generalist cut-and-paste critique was ... very close to inaccurate. While I don't have your exact language, this paraphrase should capture the spirit of what you said: "cite your sources." Good reminder, as citing sources is good practice. And, in fact, I did.

You may recall that I added a photograph to an entry that I believed to be a real photograph and not some AI invention (or whatever else), not least because it represents the likeness of the person in question. Also, I believe this still because it was taken and published by a well-established journalistishtic tabloid that would cause itself harm to engage in such foolishness.

Please confirm that what I've said so far is accurate. I apologize if you disagree with my characterization; it is not my intention to add objectionable tone or editorializing. My request is that you review the basic facts; are they accurate? If so, great! If not, please both inform me and also fairly consider whether any inaccuracies make a difference upon the following.

If the facts are accurate (or, accurate enough), I further request that you revisit the photograph, which could easily be corroborated by you or me examining photographs taken in recent years (recent decades, in truth) taken by third-party journalistic outlets. We might look at several to make sure we have a pretty good idea of variability. I seriously considered including an even more unflattering photograph taken less than three years ago, but opted to include this one, which was taken in better light and didn't feature as undesirable of the subject's characteristics as the photograph I chose not to include (the less flattering one being arguably more accurate). And ...

If you revisit the photograph which I added, which you undid; and if you find that your objection -- that it lacks a citation -- is obviously absurd, as the comes from the website of a journalisticish tabloid's website, which you will find is obvious by noting the url for the photo ... well, sir/madam, if you so find, then i would appreciate your doing one of two things.

1) Please reestablish my contribution; and/or 2) in the alternative, polish my contribution to your satisfaction, thereby ensuring that both you and I have contributed to the matter in a CONstructive manner.

If questions persist, feel free to reach out to me. I'll look at it the next time I log into this account, which may take a little while.

Lastly, please do not simply ignore this good-faith effort to work together. Please don't censor someone else with less experience than you. Please empower the community.

@Albaneseis anold.hag69: Please read the Help:Files, then add a audio file with the prefix File:. There are three semantic differences from the normal wikilink syntax when working with a file page:

• [[File:pagename]] will transclude the file, inserting the image, video, audio, or MIDI file into the rendered page in a file link. A file link is a transclusion from the File namespace, complete with transclusion parameters.
• [[:File:pagename]], with the initial colon, will link the image, video, or audio file page;
• [[Media:pagename]] will render a link which can activate the image or audio or video of a data file directly, on its own page (separate from the rendered page or the file page).

yes it can and so can a newspaper article citing danny camacho as the indiviual that captured the Steno porpoise as it is commonly known as i also knew the scientific name but since the news article states steno porpoise i went with what i have instead of using scientific name since the scientist omitted/whitewashed him from history by not crediting him for his innovation. I will be seeking an investigative reporter and in all likelihood refute Dr norriss's research and credibility with the non-credit to the innovator of the specialized capture gear that allowed them to write their research. I believe it is called a false narrative and with research it becomes one of ethics. actually i am attempting to uncover a whitewashing of a historical event that i have evidence for that is not in any research or even here. Concerning the only live capture of an infant humpback whale caught and released back to its mother while she circled the vessel. Research was conducted by Sea Life Park/Oceanic institute under the Scientist who were the pioneers in mammal studies. Dr. Ken Norris and Taylor Tap Pryor as well as his wife Karen Pryor a noted training specialist who wrote a book and gave another man credit for my fathers work. In my opinion, Dr. Norris did the research on the Humpback whale prior to his starting of the MMPA (Marine Mammals Protection Act) to release information that he participated in the live capture of a humpback whale in the late 60s would not go very well for him since he helped create the MMPA. My opinion of course but i have documented evidence of this historical event and there appears to be nothing in records in UC Santa Cruz where Dr. Norris research records are as well as NOAA.
