bot is breaking cs1|2 templates

[edit]

See Category:CS1 errors: URL–wikilink conflict. Adding |doi-access=free causes errors when |title= is wholly or partially wikilinked either by direct markup or by the use of |title-link=. Please fix the bot and those articles that are listed in the category before running it again.

That's a long time issue with the templates and you know it. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 21:24, 7 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

And again...

Glitch?

[edit]

I don't think the bot is supposed to blank the entire page? But it did so here: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Extraskeletal_chondroma&diff=prev&oldid=1338849174 ApexParagon (talk) 18:18, 17 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

So that's where that weird edit was made. I had a misclick while operating the bot and could not figure out what exactly I did, or if the bot made any edit.
Anyway, it's a one off, shouldn't happen again. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 20:03, 17 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
No worries! Thanks for clarifying ApexParagon (talk) 22:52, 17 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

MOS:AVOIDBOLD edge case

[edit]

Looks like the bot bolded the article title when it was found much later in the article:

Bot and bot clone

[edit]

See already-existing discussion of recent bad edits in multiple threads at User talk:CitationCleanerBot. I do not understand why we are seeing the same edits from a different bot but they are equally bad and equally should be stopped, if necessary by blocking the bot. —David Eppstein (talk) 23:36, 22 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
