Hello, I'm IamNotU. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The changes you have made in almost all of your edits were not supported by citations of reliable sources. Content based on your own knowledge or opinion is not acceptable unless you can identify a published source where you read it. Thank you for your understanding. Kingdom of Masran moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Kingdom of Masran, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 04:31, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Kayda Wassouf
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Kayda Wassouf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Bennv3771 (talk) 03:43, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

- For what reason?
- I wrote this article to spread knowledge regarding a niche topic in an objective manner. If anyone sees any issues due to the article not being impartial enough for wikipedia standards they can be kind enough and develop the writing style to be more unbiased, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for the good work you have done on this article!
Just a couple of remarks: you refer to this book:
- Robinson, E.; Smith, E. (1841). Biblical Researches in Palestine, Mount Sinai and Arabia Petraea: A Journal of Travels in the year 1838. Vol. 3. Boston: Crocker & Brewster.
I am trying to link all the places mentioned there with their wp-articles (if they have any). If you look at the start, p. 112 it says: "The star ( * ) annexed to many of the names, denotes that such places are in ruins or deserted".
Since Rakham is mentioned as (see User:Huldra/Robinson#p._151):
- Rukhm*
..that means it was a ruin in 1838. Also, I have a bit of a problem with the headings in the article; Normally there is a "History"-section (with under-headings, such as "Mamluk era", "Ottoman era", "Modern era".....whatever sources we have. Possibly some of the sources you have found, should be in the "History-section"?
Cheers, Huldra (talk) 22:17, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hey Huldra, thank you for your message.
- Yes, the town was previously abandoned (we dont know from when) until 5 families came to restore it. We also dont know where these families came from. They include the Haddad, Darawshe, Salboud, and two more I dont currently remember. They bought it from another family that owned the land but didnt inhabit it (I can get the name of this family if you'd like). At least, this is the oral tradition we've all been taught.
- Also, thank you for trying to find the tax records of 1596. I personally tried to but couldnt, if you are able to find anything I will be very appreciative. As for the history section, I will try to make one later this month when I am less busy.
- Thank you! DaSeashell (talk) 05:31, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
PS: I also try to match all the tax-record for 1596, given in HĂŒtteroth & Abdulfattah,(see User:Huldra/HA)
- Btw; a picture you uploaded (and is presently used in the article), is up for deletion on commons, as a copy-right infringement: Did you take the picture yourself? Huldra (talk) 23:43, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- No I did not. I found it on an Arabic website.
- No problem though, when I visit in the next year or so, I will personally take photos and upload them.
- Thanks for your ongoing help! DaSeashell (talk) 02:11, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- Ok, this picture will be deleted, then.
- But it is great news that you plan to take pictures of the place! Please try to take pictures of any neighbouring villages you might be travelling through to get to Rakham, too: hardly any of them have any pictures, cheers, Huldra (talk) 21:44, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- I definitely will, thanks for your help. Best of luck! DaSeashell (talk) 10:16, 21 October 2025 (UTC)
