Water buffalo image
[edit]Dear Chap Chiswick, Do you have anything special against this image? It was in the article until you removed it a few years ago. Now you have done it again. Is there something I need to do to get it in the article? The image is of a keeper washing his buffaloes in a river flowing through the middle of a city. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

- Nothing in particular. The function of images in an article is to illustrate specific teaching points, and you will see if you look through the article that the 23 images there (that's not just a few) actually cover a wide range of aspects of the animal's life and interactions with humans pretty thoroughly. I don't see that any more images are needed, though special aspects (a foetus perhaps, a birth) might justify their inclusion; in other words, a 24th image would need very good reason to compensate for the article to be crowded still further. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 17:05, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
food diagram interview?
[edit]Dear Chiswick Chap --
I'm writing an article for the British food publication Vittles on the way food is written about on Wikipedia. I am a longtime fan of your maps and diagrams of Anglo-Indian cuisine (as it turns out, this enthusiasm is shared by the Vittles editorial staff), and I was wondering if you be interested in talking to me about your diagrams, and experiences of editing.
I am very flexible with format and would be more than happy to send you anything before publication. Happy to talk more if you had questions about my approach also!
Here's one of my favourites :)
