bot replacement
[edit]Does CewBot function correctly? If so, then why didn't the bot do this? The Francisco Durrio article has existed since 4 March 2020.
Is it because the ill link was in a {{Episode table}}? If so, what other templates prevents automatic replacement? Regards, CapnZapp (talk) 20:39, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- I ran it again, and the robot seems to be working fine. I think this was due to an issue with the catch. Kanashimi (talk) 01:24, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you for investigating this, Kanashimi. However, your results invite more questions: As stated above the article was created in 2020. The ill link was added on 29 August 2025 and remained untouched by the bot until you re-added back the link to test your bot. I assume you are talking about a cache, perhaps related to Wikipedia:Bypass your cache but for the bot? Could there be other unfixed ill links that this cache issue prevents the bot from detecting? Cheers and have a nice day, CapnZapp (talk) 11:26, 6 August 2026 (UTC)
- This refers to the robot's local cache. It has nothing to do with WP:BYC. Kanashimi (talk) 21:22, 6 August 2026 (UTC)

Maintenance templates report
[edit]Hi! The helpful report at Wikipedia:Database reports/Pages containing too many maintenance templates says it "will be updated weekly by the robot", but it looks like the last update was about a month ago, on 7 July 2026, so something might need to be checked. I also added a suggestion here to define "problematic articles": User talk:Cewbot/log/20150916/configuration#Include definition of "problematic articles". (I suspect that if I directly edit the page to add a definition, it'll disappear when the bot updates the page.) Thank you for maintaining these helpful tools. - Howcome? Can it be started again? Jdcooper (talk) 00:24, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
- Yes. It's running now. Kanashimi (talk) 07:32, 8 August 2026 (UTC)

Thanks
[edit]Thanks Kanashimi, for your Cewbot compiling my tags into a Multiple Issues tag on Body jewelry materials. Much appreciated. I tried to insert a Multiple Issues tag and modify it to cover my three problems with the article, but I couldn't get it to work. My source code skills are non-existent. Do you perhaps know of a WP page that would help me with filling in fields in a Multiple Issues tag? Thanks for all your good work. All the best. Dropbear2 (talk) 01:34, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
- This page might provide you with some useful information. Kanashimi (talk) 04:58, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks heaps. Good luck with your editing. Dropbear2 (talk) 05:07, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
