There is an active group of editors in Wellington, and there are monthly meetups organised, if you are interested. You would be most welcome. See the home page for the series here: Wikipedia:Meetup/Wellington. There is also a national online meetup every month. See the home page for that series here: Wikipedia:Meetup/Aotearoa New Zealand Online
I noticed your edit on the article Wairarapa. Please have a look at WP:MINOR. New editors are often not aware of this, but edits should generally not be marked as minor, even if they seem relatively unimportant. The only edits that should be marked as minor are spelling corrections, adding wikilinks, and similar changes that do not affect the content. Any material change to content should not be marked as minor. The reason why this is important is that many editors with a large number of articles on their watchlist will filter out edits that are marked as minor, to make their watchlists more manageable. Edits that are marked as minor, but are not actually minor can lead to missed opportunities for improvement etc, so this is not considered good practice._Marshelec (talk) 08:48, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
