I am in school from 7:50 AM to 4:00 PM EST on weekdays. During the school week, I usually do not edit Wikipedia after school, so you will rarely find me editing in the evening. If you are trying to contact me, I will most likely respond between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM EST on school days. I am generally much more active on weekends, holidays, conference days, snow days, and other days when my school district is closed.

Thanks for cleaning up Proteus and Xiangliu

Ooh, good luck! I haven't kept with Gonggong and Xiangliu after I got Gonggong to GA 7 years ago (damn), but IIRC there hasn't been much new stuff on Xiangliu since then. Proteus definitely sounds like a tough one to write, considering all the old literature and orbital dynamics studies out there (the latter especially being a pain to understand... I gave up halfway when I tried to GA two of Haumea's moons because of this). Nrco0e (talk • contribs) 06:04, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

Speaking of Xiangliu, I have an annotated animated timelapse of Hubble images showing it orbiting Gonggong from 2017-2019 (in a similar style to the one for Chiminigagua's moon), but I sorta forgot about it. Yup. I decided to make my own since that animation (by Renerpho) is too low quality and doesn't give enough info for me to trust it. I've just uploaded my Gonggong-Xiangliu animations on Commons (link). They're rather noisy unfortunately, but I tried to balance out the brightnesses of Gonggong and Xiangliu without sacrificing the original data integrity. What you do think?
