Articles for Creation backlog drive

Hello Alextejthompson:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.

You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.

Hello! I am very new to Wikipedia editing, and you are my assigned mentor!

I'm primarily interested in revising little grammar mistakes and inconsistencies in listing or formatting. I think I have seen somewhere that you can maybe just define that as "syntax" under "edit summary", but I'm unsure if that's universally appropriate to do. In my first edit, I, perhaps clunkily, described the formating edits I made and was unsure if simply "syntax" may be a better or more concise summary.

tl;dr - When editing grammar/formatting, would it be better to simply write "syntax" (or some other appropriate term) or a description of what I changed?
