Hello. I saw that you have undone some of my edits. For some members of the United Kingdom police, their rank in the police is written in the honorific_prefix, so I thought I should add it to those where it is not. Most of them also have ribbons for orders, so I added them. I think my edits are very good. If you think otherwise, please let me know and give the reasons. Thank you for your understanding. Sorry, I didn't express myself well. Another user reverted some of my edits, so I thought it was you too. Actually, I wanted to ask you about formatting changes. You moved the words where I put them to be centered. You are not on all changes, but somewhere you are. I just wanted to ask you why you were hiding where I centered. I think it looks much nicer when it's centered. Once again, I apologize for the misunderstanding and I hope you won't mind me. Thank you for your understanding. Wikipedia has a manual of style. One of the things it specifies is that tables should be left-aligned to the page - see MOS:TABLELEFT. Much nicer doesn't come into it, much of what is in the manual of style is about consistency and accessibility (see MOS:ACCESSIBILITY making it easier for readers using assistive technology or mobile devices. @10mmsocket Hello. I understand your confusion, but most UK police officers are already centred. The same is true of most members of the United States Armed Forces. Tables should be left, so orders with tables makes sense to be left aligned too. Order ribbons on their own though I have no strong feelings. That’s said I like the bulleted lists better. 10mmsocket (talk) 09:03, 12 August 2026 (UTC)

I understand you. I have seen that many UK police officers have tables. Since most police officers have the same decorations. When I notice that a police officer has no decorations entered, I enter them, and if they match a police officer who has the same decorations and table, then I just copy it, because those tables have been there for months and years. When the text says that they have distinctions, then I just put the bars because there is no need to duplicate the content. If you didn't understand what I wanted to say, feel free to ask.
