I first registered this account - my first - April 20, 2007. Since then, I've gotten involved pretty deeply in AfD work. I see it as a chance to triage articles that are flawed, but may yet have potential. If you need access to a Wikipedia article that has been deleted, ask me. If it's not a copyright violation, libel, or personal information, and has not been deleted as a suspected biographies of living persons violation, I will userfy the article for you. Note that using the text to recreate any deleted article may automatically qualify them for speedy deletion, and copies of previously deleted content that are being used solely for long-term archival purposes may be subject to deletion because Wikipedia is not a free web host. We have a list of alternative sites which may be used to host your content. I maintain a sock account AVPW primarily for use on public networks. In the event of a compromised account, I specifically request any administrator to honor a request from AVPW to block this account, and absolve you in advance of any repercussions. To do list:

Reason: Soon after page protection was removed, vandalism started again on Burlington High School (Kansas), also on Burlington, Kansas and nearby John Redmond Reservoir too. The article lists under US casualties that there have been "42 aircraft lost", which is inaccurate as the sourced article states "42 aircraft lost or damaged", as it mentions examples such as an F-35 being damaged by missile fire, but surviving. "42 aircraft lost" should be simply changed to "42 aircraft lost or damaged" Emkut7 (talk) 22:06, 10 August 2026 (UTC)
Please change: "attack on the USS Cole." to: "attack on the USS Cole." Since the link references the page describing the attack on the ship, and not the ship itself, which has its own article. ~2026-37710-36 (talk) 16:20, 14 August 2026 (UTC) Handled requests[edit]Protected edit requests

Autopatrolled[edit]
I have created 35+ articles and intend to continue creating more. I believe my article creation history demonstrates familiarity with Wikipedia's content and sourcing policies, and so I am requesting the autopatrolled right to help reduce workload for New Pages Patrol.LivingLife1976 (talk) 11:25, 1 August 2026 (UTC) LivingLife1976 (talk) 11:25, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
Hi, I have contributed a number of articles in the past (User:MinorProphet#List of articles wot I did do) and have a backlog of drafts (User:MinorProphet/Draft subpages), some of which are closer to completion than others. It would do wonders for my self-confidence (I had a stroke around 10 years ago) if I felt that I could post relatively worthwhile articles directly into mainspace as before. Best wishes to all behind the scenes, MinorProphet (talk) 14:43, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
User has created 465 articles, 0 of which have been deleted. I have often reviewed their work during NPP and have never found any problems (via TSI spot-check, Earwig, etc.) requiring patroller attention. Zzz plant (talk) 14:42, 13 August 2026 (UTC)

File mover[edit]
Many files of organisms are mislabelled as the wrong species. I often submit renaming requests, but occasionally such requests do not receive a response as it does not get noticed by someone else who is knowledgeable in the subject matter. Bloopityboop (talk) 23:26, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
Page mover[edit]
I'm shooting my shot because I've had multiple occasions, including one within just the last few hours, when I had to wait for an administrator to delete a redirect so I could move a draft I'd been working on to mainspace. I'd like to cut out the middle human and be able to delete redirects by simply moving over them – certainly it would be one less addition to the admin workload. I admittedly don't have a ton of experience with requested moves, so I'll understand if this request is declined on those grounds. If this request is granted, then I promise I'll be careful with the new tools. Dylan620 (he/they/she • talk • edits) 01:26, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
Hi. I've been fairly active recently at WP:RM, and have been closing elapsed requests a decent amount recently. I would like page mover rights in order to close requests more easily, specifically closing round-robin moves and mass-moves without having to request help at WP:RM/TR. I would also like to help close requests at WP:RM/TR, and this would also be helpful for draftifying when doing NPP. I meet the editing requirements, and have not had any blocks or 3RR issues. Axolitl (talk | contribs) 22:03, 10 August 2026 (UTC)
For now requesting mainly for two scenarios. It's very annoying when I have to wait up to a day for a single revision redirect to be deleted in order to accept an article at AFC, and the second is draftifying at new page patrol. CherryPie94 🍒🥧 (talk) 19:12, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
Pending changes reviewer[edit]
I am requesting the pending changes reviewer permission to assist with maintaining the quality of articles on English Wikipedia. My contributions have primarily focused on expanding and improving articles by adding reliable, independent sources, improving references, and organizing content in accordance with Wikipedia's content policies. 0ximjub43r (talk) 22:12, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
I am familiar with Wikipedia and its guidelines; occasionally come across pending changes I'd like to review. MSWS (talk) 03:18, 30 July 2026 (UTC)
Reason for requesting pending changes reviewer rights I would like to be able to review edits that are on pending changes pages, as well as unprotected pages. I have 900 edits now, which a good number of them are anti-vandal edits. I also feel that I have a good knowledge on Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and I feel I could use that knowledge on pending changes pages as well as unprotected pages. MathMan4 (talk) 06:03, 30 July 2026 (UTC)
I would like to review pending changes encountered during recent edits patrol. I am familiar with Wikipedia's content policies. Mascius (talk) 18:28, 30 July 2026 (UTC)
In my recent changes patrols, I semi-frequently come across pending changes. If the changes are vandalism, I revert them, but I would also like the ability to accept good pending changes while I'm at it. I already have rollback, extended confirmed, and over 1.6k edits. I also have read and am familiar with the relevant policies. FlammablePizza (talk) 21:20, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
I would like to have pending changes reviewer rights, because I occasionally come across pending changes that I am interested in accepting/not accepting on the recent changes page. I have experience with the necessary policies from actions like patrolling recent changes, writing articles that go through the AfC process to get accepted, and DyK and GA participation. Bungle491 (talk) 19:54, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
I would like to request Pending Changes reviewer rights. My previous request was on 27 May 2026, and since then I have continued to be active in patrolling, issuing warnings, and reporting vandalism, block evasion, and disruptive editing at AIV, RFPP, SPI, and AN/EW. I am also active in patrolling edits in the mainspace. I am familiar with the reviewing guidelines and understand that edits should not be accepted if they contain vandalism, violate the biographies of living persons policy, or include legal threats or personal attacks. Thank you. AriuCH (talk) 22:15, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
Often come across pending changes when going through recent changes - already revert any vandalism, BLP violations and similar, but would like to be able to accept some of them whilst I am there. IAmNetx (talk) 12:40, 14 August 2026 (UTC)
Reason for requesting pending changes reviewer rights I am formally requesting Pending Changes Reviewer privileges to seamlessly integrate my high-volume anti-vandalism workflows with Wikipedia's protected page queues. Currently, I operate a semi-automated monitoring setup that aggregates live IRC feed data and cross-references recent changes against severe page-blanking heuristics. However, encountering articles under pending changes protection introduces an artificial operational latency, forcing me to manually bypass the interface to execute standard reversals.Granting me this permission will allow me to instantly process pending revisions directly from my dashboard, optimizing my throughput during high-traffic vandalism spikes. AlterSkye (talk) 13:19, 14 August 2026 (UTC)
Rollback[edit]
I've recently been using SWViewer and Twinkle to revert vandalism, so this permission would be very useful for me. I'm already very familiar with how it works, as I already have this permission on other Wikimedia projects. -- 🐦🔥 Aws 💬 Talk 14:23, 12 July 2026 (UTC)
I would like to request Rollback permissions firstly in order to make use of tools like Huggle & AntiVandal. Secondly rollback permissions will allow me to increase the speed of my workflow as most of it consists of RC patrolling edits by unregistered & new accounts. My contribution history demonstrates that I have multiple months of RC Patrol experience and no history of edit warring. At the time of writing this I have 656 live edits of which 220 are in the Main namespace and 262 are in the User Talk namespace, this shows my track record of consistently notifying editors when reverting their edits. Vydrakk (talk) 10:03, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
I would like to request my Rollback rights. My previous request on June 15 was declined because I was blocked for making disruptive edits. Since I'm autoconfirmed, I use Twinkle to revert the edits which was vandalized by the IPs (or later TAs). Thomasfan1916[built buses?] 20:15, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
I am requesting permanent rollback rights after a 1 month trial in the past, as well as my recent 3 month trial. Over the course of the past few months, I have served as a CVUA instructor, and have continued using antivandalism tools like Wikishield and CVPI to prevent vandalism from infecting the wiki. 「Norellia.sh」(talk) 08:29, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
I have antivandalism experience and I am requesting rollback permissions to be better equipped to fight vandals. My track record shows that I'm good at differentiating between vandalism and good faith edits, and responding accordingly. - Otherwise (Talk?) 02:50, 29 July 2026 (UTC)
Reason for requesting rollback rights I have 900 edits now, which a lot of them are reverting vandalism and ensuring pages follow Wikipedia's quality guidelines. I feel that being able to rollback pages/edits will help me ensure that Wikipedia's quality standards are being met, especially when a user has made multiple poor-quality edits. MathMan4 (talk) 05:57, 30 July 2026 (UTC)
Reason for requesting rollback rights, I mainly edit reality shows and there are constantly fan edits. I have to revert in most cases to stable one but it unfortunately also includes some good edits. Overall, extra hard work. Rollback will definitely help me. :) Tenshi Uisu (talk) 16:05, 30 July 2026 (UTC)
Been on wp for almost a year now with 5000 edits, already use Twinkle on a regular basis and would be useful when I'm reviewing pages. Fortek67 (talk) 12:13, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
I would like to request rollback rights as it will help me fight vandalism. I currently use Twinkle and I would like to use tools such as CVPI to revert vandalism quicker. Alpha Beta Delta Lambda (talk) 22:00, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
Articles are often subjected to persistent vandalism by unregistered IP users or even newly registered users. Such edits are frequently spotted while patrolling recent changes. Reverting these edits using the Twinkle gadget is quite cumbersome. I know when to use rollback. Mathew D'Marco (talk) 17:33, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
I am requesting the rollback permission to help efficiently revert blatant vandalism and construct history fixes. I understand that rollback is only for clear vandalism and not for content disputes. Elison Pokhrel TALK 14:52, 6 August 2026 (UTC)
I have done a lot of anti-vandalism work in recent weeks but have been frustrated by my inability to be able to restore a previous version due to conflicting errors after vandalism. I consistently notify users and reply to their messages, and try to assist them and tell them what they have done wrong. I understand the uses of this tool and how it is not for content disputes, and I would use this tool responsibly. I have taken feedback from my last request, and I believe I am now in a place to apply. Thanks for your consideration. Equivalent-Text2598 (talk) 22:39, 8 August 2026 (UTC)
Rollback rights for counter-vandalism editing. Contributions speak for themself Czarking0 (talk) 04:44, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
I have been doing some recent change patrolling over the past few weeks and think having access to native rollback could aid in this - would also give me the chance to try some other tools that require rollback permissions. IAmNetx (talk) 14:52, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
Reason for requesting rollback rights am writing to formally request rollback permissions to better support my active duties as a senior counter-vandalism specialist and lead field mentor. Over the past year, I have spearheaded advanced operational deployments using high-efficiency, multi-threaded frameworks like Huggle, Twinkle, and RedWarn. Furthermore, I routinely execute high-speed rollbacks using a proprietary, low-latency API script that cross-references live ClueBot NG server streams to instantly catch coordinated page-blanking and heavy spam injections. AlterSkye (talk) 13:08, 14 August 2026 (UTC)
I've been making an effort to become more consistently active on Wikipedia, and I've recently reached 1,000 edits after a streak of activity. Of those 1,000 edits, the vast majority are anti-vandalism, with most being recent changes patrolling. Having Rollback would allow me to use WikiShield and Huggle, which would allow me to be much quicker in reverting vandalism.
Template editor[edit]
I recently possessed the template editor right, but it expired on July 1. I would like to request permanent template editor rights. I have met all the criteria for granting. I also am willing to prove I can be responsible again with possessing the template editor right permanently. CharlesEditor23 (talk) 05:13, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
Hello! My bot CutlassBot is applying the {{Deprecated archive}} template (recently protected). I’d like template editor permission while the bot is doing its run to apply the template so that I can handle any issues that come up for example, I have one change request pending at Module talk:Deprecated archive. I don’t intend to change any other high risk templates during this run. This is my first template so I don’t meet the guideline criteria. Alternatively, maybe we remove the protection from the module, but I think it’s lower risk to grant me the editor privileges for 3 months. Thanks for considering!
