Project Reboot is a nonprofit organization with an all volunteer staff dedicated to providing quality computer systems and peripherals to low income families with school aged children throughout the metropolitan Washington, DC area at the lowest possible cost. Since it's founding in 1997, Project Reboot has refurbished more than 11,000 donated computers, which it has distributed to a number of families, low income individuals and other non-profit entities.
