My username, Penguin112358 is a combination of penguins, which are my favorite animal, and the first 6 numbers of the Fibonacci sequence, which is associated with the Golden ratio.
I am a native English speaker. I technically spoke Mandarin as my first language since I was born in China, but I moved to the United States when I was three, so my knowledge of Mandarin is limited based on three years of taking Mandarin in high school. I've also taken two years of Arabic in university, where I studied both Fusha (Modern Standard Arabic) and Lebanese Arabic. I've also studied various other languages on my own, but only to a very basic level. Since I am from Wuxi in Jiangsu province in China, I am interested in learning Wu Chinese, specifically Shanghainese since it's the variety with the most learning resources. I am also interested in learning Assyrian Neo-Aramaic since I know several people at my university who are Assyrian or Chaldean.
