Introduction

Hello Visitor,

My nickname here is Infix Operator. In my language, in Hungarian, I'm Kristof but foreigners usually call me simply Chris. I live in Budapest, Hungary. I'm a graduated computer scientist and applied mathematician.

I'm a newbie among the registered wiki users and editors.

This is only a personal user page. Don't take it too serious like a resume, github or linkedin page.

So many popular fractals can found. I also made one for which I extended the bitwise operator XOR for real radixes. That is, not only radix 2 but a continuous extension can be seen in the following self-made artwork:

My childhood

When I was at the age of 12 years, I could say the first 10 powers of 5, I knew the complex number somewhat: with the knowledge of the multiplication rule of complex number was enough for me to determine the square root of the imaginary unit without the usage of angular for or the other formulas. At this age I also made the three formulas for calculating the area of regular polygons when only two data was given from triplet of the radius, length of side and the inner angles between the sides. I also could determine simple derivatives and calculate simple integrals. I was interested in linear algebra as well. But my favorite topic could be the tetration and general hyperoperators.

At my age of 13 years, I tried to describe one of my favorite problem I have never been solved yet: extend the hyperoperators for real or complex numbers, simply to say, what is between the integer-leveled operators like multiplication and exponentiation. By fixing the two operands a and b of the hyperoperator, leaving the middle variable x free, how the plot of the function could look like?

After more than a decade, I could not find or give any satisfying answer for my question. I have still not give it up, and I'm still working on this problem...

Interesting side results

During my research, I explored a lot of amazing thing. The most of them may not be interesting for the most of people but a really few of them, but I still can share some of them.

  • Easy practice for determining tetration, pentation and hexation, and their inverse functions with the usage of Carleman matrices
  • Superation of cosine
  • So-called operator-calculus including the operators of functional exponentiation and functional logarithm of functions, its polynomial forms
  • The Carleman matrices of operators
  • Functional series of functions
  • Carleman tensors which is the extension of Carleman matrices but for mutli-variable functions
  • A tensor algebra in which the rank of tensors are hold during the tensor products and inverses
  • Etc.

Sadly I'm still far from the extended hyperoperators...

No physical handshakes but being proud for exchanging emails or having calls with:

  • Henryk Trappmann, Gottfried Helms and Dmitrii Kouznetsov who worked on the extended hyperoperators, too
