Hey, you!
[edit]Hello, you! My name is, well, whatever you wanna call me. I don't care. If you somehow stumbled upon here, which is highly unlikely, you will be surprised to find out that - well, actually, you won't be surprised to find out you won't find anything here. I can still barely get around this place. I have been reading Wikipedia articles forever since, yet I have only recently began editing Wikipedia - my first edit was actually against the guidelines, and it was reverted. Too bad.
Personally, I love photography - that does not mean I am good at it. Sure, I can take a good picture, or two, but I am not the kind of person who does those shots that seem random and turn out amazing, if you get what I mean. I don't even have the resources, time, or energy to get better at it. Tried reading a book once. Stopped somewhere in the beginning - nothing taught me photography better than photography itself. Sure, theory is good to an extent, even necessary, but nothing is as good as taking the camera into your own hands, feeling the pressure against your skin, looking through the viewfinder, adjusting the exposure, focal length, putting your finger on the shutter button, and hearing the shutter click. That's how you know the moment was just permanently engraved on an SD card or a piece of film, and that you were the engraver, who decided exactly how he will do it. That is until you destroy that medium, of course.
Not that I have much experience with cameras. I own one DSLR, the Olympus E-1, paired with two lenses, with three dead pixels, inherited from my late grandfather, and one Sony CyberShot camera, that takes (relatively) forever to save the picture to the SD card, and the quality, well... it's fine if you are the oddly energetic weird aunt taking photos at your birthday party or a grandmother, well, doing the same thing. On second thought, no, even my grandmother has a better camera. At the end of the day, the best choice I have is my own phone. That thing takes better pictures that both of these combined.
The only reason this is getting written, is just so I have a grain of hope that one day, someone will stumble upon my page and acknowledge my so minimally significant existence. And so I feel like there is a place in the entire internet where I can just say two words about myself, so it just lingers around forever.
