I am a Hongkonger and was born on December 12, 1995. I used to live in King Lam Estate, Tseung Kwan O. Tseung Kwan O is a new town which is at the southeastern fringe of the New Territories of Hong Kong. I love editing and travelling.
When I studied Chemistry in high school, I loved doing experiments and particularly enjoyed Inorganic Chemistry. I really liked the vibrant colours of the inorganic solutions (like potassium permanganate or copper(II) sulphate) and flames in flame test. However, I gradually disliked the subject when I further studied Chemistry in university. I encountered loads of tedious mechanisms of organic reactions and lengthy experiments of mostly colourless solutions or white solids. I started to doubt whether I really liked Chemistry, or I liked it just because I could get good academic results by reciting everything in Chemistry. Clearly I did not think deeply enough on what I really love.
Nevertheless, I still appreciate what I learnt in my high school and university, which give me a solid foundation of knowledge on natural science.
I have been editing on Chinese Wikipedia since September 2010, and English Wikipedia since January 2017. I mostly work on translations from English to Chinese for geographical articles. I have a greater interest towards geography than chemistry after university graduation. I also love metro systems and sometimes translate rail-related articles. I love to read maps and often imagine how new rail lines can be laid around different towns and cities, therefore I often read articles about the new rail projects in Wikipedia.
I have contributions in the below articles in English Wikipedia:
