I am a professional astrophysicist/cosmologist working in the field of galaxy formation and evolution. I've worked at the Centre de Recherche Astrophysique de Lyon in Lyon, France; in JILA at the University of Colorado at Boulder and at the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh. My work is theoretical in nature and involves using N-body and other simulation techniques to study the formation of galaxies and large-scale structure in the Universe.

My activities on Wikipedia

As an astrophysicist and member of WikiProject Astronomy, I'm mostly involved in editing and improving articles dealing with aspects of extragalactic astronomy and astrophysics. I frequently patrol the astronomy category for new pages and try to place them into the appropriate subcategories. I'm also interested in topics related to computing, education and the environment.
