I am CircularReason (CircularΔογός), a 40-something American male. I study philosophy in my day job.

I love Wikipedia and want to make it better. (I even love the Wikipedia Bias because I always know what I'm gonna get.) I use it extensively for personal interest, and use it as a starting point for items of professional interest.

My primary Wikipedia editing policy is *be bold*. In producing content, or condensing articles, I prefer simplicity and clarity especially in lede paragraphs.

In general, I prefer to add detailed content to an article until it is ready for splitting, then split early and split often. Knowledge expands fractally, and Wikipedia browsing should mirror this expansion. Simple terms people search should reveal a short-ish article with further hyperlinks to more specific articles. I dislike articles with long, complicated lede paragraphs that cram "everything" about a topic into one place. Those turn off the casual reader.

In the past, I've worked hard on the Philosophy article (All roads lead to philosophy!), the Absolute (philosophy) article, which has been outmoded, and the Virtue ethics article which needs some work.
