Elaine (also known as Sania) (born October 27, 2006), is an AmericantransgenderWikipedia user. She officially registered an account on February 24, 2026. She is currently 19 years old.
Born in the state of Michigan, Elaine has largely chalked up most of her personal identity to her home state, such as professional sports teams of Detroit, as well as the Michigan State Spartans of East Lansing.
She has been diagnosed with autism, which has largely contributed to her love for sports, linguistics, and music.
Elaine was born on October 27, 2006 in Lansing, Michigan, though she spent most of her childhood growing up in the Greater Lansing area.
At a very young age, she was noted for being "different". Elaine displayed an "advanced" mindset early on in elementary school, where she was absorbing Englishphonics, cursive handwriting, and other concepts at a much faster pace than other students. This wasn't properly classified until late elementary, when she was officially diagnosed with ASD sometime in 2016.
After being diagnosed with ASD, Elaine moved school districts which severely affected her mentally. This was only worsened when in the summer of 2016, her mother suddenly passed away. A few years later, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States in early 2020. During this period of virtual isolation and a growing online prescence, Elaine began developing her own profiles on many online clients like Roblox, Steam, and Discord.
On January 4, 2021, Elaine officially came out as a transgender woman. Initially, her chosen name was based off of a clipping of her Roblox username "SanitizedGamer" that was shortened to "Sani" by many of her online friends. When she came out, an 'a' was added, creating the name "Sania". She would use this name for several years before officially identifying as "Elaine" (or "Ella") in 2024. Some of her online friends still refer to her with the name "Sania", thus she has adopted it as a secondhand nickname in addition to her legal address as "Elaine". In terms of pronouns, she typically goes by she/they.
One of Elaine's main interests is her love for sports, particularly American sports. She heavily follows the NFL and MLB, but occasionally pays attention to the NBA and NHL as well. Her top favorite sports teams are the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, and Detroit Tigers. For the NBA and NHL, she follows the Detroit scene as well (Pistons and Red Wings). Besides the 2007-08 Red Wings season where the team won the Stanley Cup, Elaine has not been alive to witness any Detroit team win a national championship.
Elaine began watching anime during her middle school years. She regards the Rumiko Takahashi original Ranma ½ as her favorite, specifically the original anime adaptation that began in 1989, as she watched it frequently during the pandemic in her middle school years and it significantly influenced her eventual coming out as transgender. The titular character Ranma remains her favorite anime character, with Jigen from Lupin the Third being a close second. Additionally, the English VA for Jigen, Richard Epcar, is one of her favorite voice actors in the anime dubbing industry.
She has since come out on record stating her first anime to be Baka and Test, which she no longer enjoys.
Elaine has long enjoyed the study of language, as well as learning and creating languages herself. She has studied French, Spanish, Russian, Catalan, and has dipped her toes into languages like Japanese, Arabic, and Polish. She finds smaller Indo-European languages fascinating, including Occitan, Kashubian, as well as other minority languages, such as Okinawan or Jeju. She has also developed an interest in conlanging.
In addition to making constructed languages, Elaine has also established her own micronation. Many of these projects have been documented through mockup Wikipedia-esque articles created with Google Docs, all of which are jokingly subtitled as Docupedia, a portmanteau of "document" and "Wikipedia".
Elaine describes herself as left-leaning. She was vocal of her support for the United States' Democratic Party, but has since rescinded her support for either of the two common parties in the United States government. She voiced her support for Zohran Mamdani during the widespread attention of the 2025 New York City mayoral election, and has stated she will stand with the Democratic Party when more people like Mamdani can run for president. She condemns the actions of Israel, and has vocally expressed her support for the State of Palestine. This has contributed to her distrust of both the Democratic and Republican parties, due to many of its most popular and politically active candidates expressing support for Israel.
She has advocated for more practical or stricter gun laws, such as background checks so as to prevent mass school shootings, but has also voiced support for the Bill of Rights second amendment, believing it to be an inalienable right of all Americans to own or carry a gun.
Elaine is atheistic, but does not describe herself as such. She does not fully deny the possibility of a higher-deity, but chooses not to follow any of the large Abrahamic religions such as Christianity, Judaism, or Islam, mostly due to their controversies surrounding homosexuality and queer identity. She grew up between families who had differing levels of religious following, with most of her religious upbringing stemming from her maternal grandparents and relatives on her mother's side. Since her mother's death however, she has alluded to her disinterest in monotheistic religions as a whole.
Elaine is a furry, but is not an active member of the furry fandom. Her fursona is a sheep.
