Cooling systems?
[edit]I recall a friend of mine who worked for SGI said the processors for some of the systems they started with after the MIPS cpus were in "Bricks" and used a coolant that was highly nasty, if one leaked, it was a big Hazmat incident. I keep wanting to say it was Barium, but I am not sure. Anyone have any details on these systems?Thraxarious (talk) 21:35, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds apocryphal? I worked at SGI during the MIPS days, and the systems were somewhat exotic in their manufacture, but sounds like something a competitor's salesperson would say. Anyway, this article is about the post-MIPS products. W Nowicki (talk) 20:44, 3 August 2013 (UTC)
