The Mets entered spring training with new player Juan Soto. In the first half, the Mets went 45-28. Then, during the second half, went 38-55. E-boogies (talk) 19:50, 24 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Please add to the final paragraph of the history section: Despite the acquisition of Juan Soto, the Mets underwent a historic collapse in the 2025 season. While the Mets attained a record of 45-24 by June 12, the Mets went 38-55 down the stretch, and ended up losing their playoff spot to the Cincinnati Reds.^[1] Following the season, David Stearns got rid of a large chunk of the older core, including letting Edwin Diaz and Pete Alonso resign with other teams, and trading Brandon Nimmo^[2] and Jeff McNeil.^[3] ~2025-43831-25 (talk) 22:26, 30 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Can somebody with editing privileges please add this to the paragraph about Mrs. Met:

Mrs. Met became the first female mascot elected to the Mascot Hall of Fame, in the class of 2026. This made the Mets the first team to have two mascots in the hall (the other being Mr. Met, who was in the class of 2007).^[4]^[5]~2026-43516-68 (talk) 14:40, 8 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
