Edit request: Fix incorrect claim of 20-day Archean synodic month

I suggest replacing "This has resulted in the length of a anomalistic month having increased from 20 days to today's 27.55 days over the course of 3.2 billion years." with "This has resulted in both the synodic month and the solar day increasing in duration over the course of 3.2 billion years, with a smaller relative change in the number of solar days per month." which better reflects the content of the cited study.

I agree that the content was off base, even incorrect. However I made a completely different change. The paper is clear that the concept of "month" is unclear. It discusses multiple definitions in relation to the data, match what most readers will imagine when they read "month". I replaced the month value with the more clearly defined by equally startling solar day, 13 hours. Please review. Johnjbarton (talk) 16:13, 5 June 2026 (UTC)

WP:URFA/2020

I am reviewing this article as part of WP:URFA/2020, an initiative to review Wikipedia's oldest featured articles. Upon reviewing this, I noticed that there are lots of uncited statements, including entire paragraphs. Some might be covered under WP:CALC but other statements require citations. Is anyone interested in fixing up this article, potentially getting it ready for a TFA re-run? I'm also going to add this to WP:FARGIVEN to see if it will get more attention. Luna

It's ridiculous

that I can't find a reliable source for a fact as simple as "there are fewer volcanic than impact craters on the Moon." Serendi^podous 13:28, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
