I think that some information in this article needs to be maintained. For instance, Bank of the West was sold by BNP Paribas. The similar situation is valid also for the article about Bank of The West. I wanted to make these changes but I am a beginner user and I didn't want to cause any inconvenient changes. Slew of mergers

There were a ton of different merge proposals made by Kochas (here are all of them, sorted by consensus to merge) I wanted to let you know that, per WP:DA, merge proposals should eb made at the target page, not the source page, and in this cse they could've been bundled, since the reason was the same.
