I have a paid connection to the subject, disclosed on my user page and in the banner above. I am not editing the article directly.

I would like to propose a revision of the lead section. I understand that reviewers may prefer different wording or a different sourcing approach. The text below is intended as a starting point, and I would be happy with any version that better reflects Wikipedia policies.

Reasons:

1. "(replacing Smartface Inc.)" in the opening sentence is unclear, and the relationship is explained properly in the following paragraph.
2. The office locations are unsourced. Since they are not supported by a citation, I suggest removing them until a reliable source is available. The infobox already states the headquarters location.
3. The current wording uses both "Mobile DevOps" and "mobile Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery". Since the article describes Appcircle primarily as a CI/CD platform, the shorter wording is more concise.
4. "while Smartface Inc focusing on" is ungrammatical.
5. The discontinuation of Smartface is not reflected anywhere in the article.
6. The last paragraph attributes causation ("The superseding of Smartface by Appcircle stems from the fact that") that neither cited source states. This appears to be WP:SYNTH. I propose keeping the sourced factual comparison and removing only the causal framing. Both citations in that paragraph are retained.
7. The docs.smartface.io citation appears to be unreachable in a normal browser. Per WP:DEADREF I am not proposing its removal, only tagging it. If an archived copy can be located, replacing the tag with archive parameters would be preferable.

On the citations in the second paragraph: this proposal replaces the two existing references there with a single source, so I want to set out my reasoning. The Turkcell customer story describes a client project and does not appear to support the statement about professional services that it is attached to. The 2019 company announcement predates the events described in the paragraph. The proposed source is dated December 2025 and covers the discontinuation directly. All three are company-published, so this is not an improvement in independence, and I want to be clear about that. A press release is primary and non-independent under WP:ORGIND; I am proposing it only under WP:ABOUTSELF, for uncontroversial factual statements about the company's own history, and I have not included any of the evaluative claims the release makes. If reviewers would prefer to retain the existing citations and simply add this one, that outcome is fine with me. HorizonAurora (talk) 09:18, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
