[edit]The Intur village is located in Amruthalur taluka/mandal of Bapatla district in Andhra Pradesh, India. The total geographical area of Intur village is 2184 Hectares / 21.84 KM2. Intur has a total population of 5,715 people, out of which the male population is 2,796, while the female population is 2,919. The literacy rate of Intur Village is 69.87%, out of which 73.82% of males and 66.08% of females are literate. There are about 1,676 houses in Intur Village.
According to Census 2011 information, the location code or village code of Intur village is 590397. It is situated 10 km away from the sub-district headquarter Amruthalur (tehsildar's office) and 30 km away from the district headquarter Bapatla. As per 2009 stats, Intur village is also a gram panchayat. The nearest police station is located in the Amruthalur tahsil. The pincode of the Intur village locality is 522341.
Ponnur is the nearest town to Intur for all major economic activities, which is approximately 8 km away.
